Shower | Mini Imagine

Quick little imagine for the boy of your choice :)

The warm water fell down my back in a calming, constant motion. It had been a hectic day, and all I wanted to do was take a shower and go lay in bed. I hummed along softly to a song that had been stuck in my head and let out a sigh as I began to lather up my hair. I heard the door open and shut, and I smiled to myself. I rinsed out the shampoo from my hair and felt hands wrap around my waist. "Hi," I smiled looking up at him.

"Hey, babe," he said grinning.

"What are you doing?" I asked reaching over for the conditioner bottle. I couldn't wipe the smile from my face - something about his presence made me more than happy.

"Showering," he said simply. I rolled my eyes playfully and went to pour the conditioner in my hand but he stopped me. "Here, let me help," I giggled and handed him the bottle and soon he was lathering my hair for me. Oddly enough it was somewhat soothing, so I relaxed and washed off my body while he took care of my hair. "You looked really stressed out when you came home - and I know how much you love showers and me. Then I got this awesome idea: why not just combine the two."

"Good thinking," I applauded while rinsing my hair. "Well I am going to go lay down while you finish doing what you're doing," I went to peck his cheek but it turned into something more. He pressed his hand to the small of my back. He pushed soaking wet hair behind my ear and we stumbled a little from the wet floor of the shower. I pulled away and fanned my face. "Is it hot in here?" Steam was rising not just from the water but from the two of us as well. 

"You know what we should do?" He smirked causing a devious grin to fold across my lips.

"I'll race you," I shut off the water and immediately grabbed my towel and wrapped it around myself before I took off for our shared bedroom.
