Hey guys, so maybe the title is a little misleading. I'm not done writing permanently lol.

I do want to address something...I've been thinking about it for awhile, and I've made the final decision.

I've been writing fanfiction for about 5 years now, since I was eleven. Five years of fanfiction, that's a lot. I started out with Justin Bieber, worked my way through One Direction, did the Janoskians for a little while, and moved into the Omaha lane. I love writing fanfiction, I really do, it's a ton of fun and it's easy to work with. But I think it's time to move on.

By this time in two years I'll be in my last two months of high school. Then I'll be a college freshman hopefully at the Ohio State University, majoring in Film Studies. By majoring in Film, I will hopefully lead a career of either film/tv production, screen writing, or direction. Honestly I'd love to do all three. I want to be prepared for when I enter the next chapter of my life, you know?

So I've been thinking a ton about this, and I've decided to move on to original pieces. Yes, I realize that there are people older than me writing fanfiction, and I want to clarify that age is NOT a factor when it comes to my decision. I have developed a new story idea, and it is an original piece. The drive, and the passion is all there for this piece. It is going to consume all of my time, and I'm not going to have time to work on preferences, imagines, and different fanfictions.

Here is why:

1. Here is a look into what my class schedule for next year will be:
English 11
Advanced Algebra II
Honors Chemistry
American Government & Economics
Spanish III
Zoology
Independent Living
History of American Music
College level General Psychology
College level Introduction to Sociology

As you can see I'm going to be incredibly busy, lol.

2. I signed up for early college classes, and I will find out next month if I was accepted into the university or not. If I get accepted (I believe I will, I exceeded all of the requirements), it is going to take up so much time. Writing one story is going to be challenging enough.

3. I have to find a job. I'm getting my license sometime this month, and with a license comes a job. This isn't always the case, but I want to have my own money, I will have to help pay for my car insurance, and buy my own gas. I also want to save up for college. Again, with early college courses, and a job writing one story is going to be all I'm capable of.

4. I'll be able to connect with it better. Yes, I love writing these fanfiction pieces. But sometimes I feel like I can't emotionally connect with my own characters because I'm not dating a celebrity. When you write an original work, you can make the character based off someone you know, and I've noticed that while working on the first chapter of the original piece that I'm working on. It is so much easier to connect with the characters when you all hold them near and dear to your heart.  I noticed that the words are spilling out of me when I'm writing the original work, they're all meaningful words too, every letter holds something close to me.

5. I'm ready for something new. I think this one is self-explanatory. Like I said, I've been writing fanfiction for 5 years, and it's all been amazing. I've watched myself improve and it's so incredible to me. I think I have set myself up for original work, and now I'm ready to take action and use that new skill.

With all of that being said, here is what is going to happen:

I am going to finish my current stories, so American Dream, Arizona and Delicate will all be completed. I am not going to go forth with Homicide. I will also wrap these imagines/preferences up sometime as well.

I will not release this original piece until all of my current stories (except for Homicide) are all complete. So expect this new story in May. Now, to let you know about this new, original story....

It is titled 'A Girl Named Indi' and it is your average day love story, but with a twist. Through the story you will follow Levi Harper as he tells you about a girl named Indi. Here is a small snippet/preview of the story:

'She was eccentric. She was electrifying. She was everything. She was unforgettable. She had freckles that were like constellations, I could find Pisces, Gemini and Orion on her cheeks, and her eyes held the universe. She smoked cigarettes, claiming that her lungs were black like her hair and her chipped black nails. She smiled so much that you believed that she was pieced together perfectly without one single crack or flaw. She loved the ocean, and maybe that's why her eyes were the color they were because they reflected her attachment. She studied psychology, because she thought that if she could understand how the mind works then maybe she'll finally be able to understand herself. She was eccentric. She was electrifying. She was everything. But she was breaking at the seams.'

I hope you all enjoyed that little preview. I'm so excited for it, you don't even understand. I hope you all understand my decision, and yes I will continue to fangirl, and I will continue to read fanfictions. But as for writing, I am ready to take a step forward. I love you all, and please don't be upset, and this is NOT an April fools joke. I promise you.

Much love forever and ever,
Hannah xx
