Hey guys, so this one kinda sucks, I'm sorry :( This however will kind of give you a hint about my new Jack J fanfic that I'm working "Arizona" but I'm not going to tell you how it's a hint ;) Anyway I hope you enjoy!

"Ladies and gentlemen we are getting ready to make an emergency landing at Chicago O'Hare International Aiport due to the current weather conditions. Please put on year seat-belts as this time," the captain spoke over the intercom. Every passenger on the plane groaned - including Jack and I. We fastened our seatbelts and I looked out the window to see nothing but a pure white out.

"God, it's really coming down hard isn't it?" Jack said looking over my shoulder and out the plane window.

"Yeah," I nodded and looked at him. "How long do you think we're going to be here?"

"Who knows," he shrugged. Within minutes we were on the runway and filing off of the plane. Jack and I walked through the tunnel and found our luggage at the baggage claim. We looked around at the different signs to get an idea of what time our flight would be taking off to head to Nebraska. "Tomorrow at the earliest?" He sighed.

"Great," I rolled my eyes. We sat down in the uncomfortable chairs the airport provided and I pulled out my phone. "I'll text everyone and let them know that our flight got delayed," I hurriedly messaged all of our family and friends to let them know that there was a complete white out and we wouldn't be able to leave Chicago until the morning.

The airport was decorated beautifully with multiple Christmas lights, and trees. I smiled as I looked at them, but frowned when I realized I was going to be spending Christmas Eve at an airport. Jack stayed quiet for a while, he mainly played on his cell phone and tweeted out a few things. I looked around the airport and watched as strangers ran up to their loved ones and hugged them. I smiled when I saw families reunited and looked down when I realize that I wasn't going to be with my family tonight.

Jack and I were on our way back from my apartment in New York. He had came out early to visit me from L.A. while I was working, and we both decided to fly back home to Nebraska together. When we left the snow in New York wasn't bad at all, but I guess we didn't realize it was going to hit the midwest as hard as it did. For miles all you could see was snow, and the freezing temperatures were harsh against any exposed skin.

"I knew we should have left earlier," I said finally gaining Jack's attention. He raised one of his eyebrows up at me. "I knew it was going to snow, but I didn't realize this bad."

"I was just looking at the weather, and no one really knew it was going to be this bad. Apparently there's more coming in. We wouldn't have been able to get into Nebraska anyway, the airport is completely shut down." He stuffed his phone into his pocket and looked at me. I leaned my head back on the top of the chair and groaned.

"This is definitely not how I wanted to spend Christmas Eve," I muttered. "I told you we should have left earlier!"

"Like I knew this was going to happen," he rolled his eyes. I glared at him. "I don't control the weather, I just thought it would be fun to surprise everyone on Christmas Eve."

"Yeah well your plan didn't really work out now did it?" I hissed.

"Don't even try to blame this on me." He shook his head and had obvious agitation in his voice. I wasn't meaning to blame him, because I knew this wasn't his fault. I just wanted to be back home with my family. It had been so long since I had seen them last, and Christmas was always the best time to be with them, and now all of it was completely tarnished.

"I'm sorry, I just really don't want to be here," I apologized.

"Me either," he said and heaved a heavy sigh. I sat up and looked at him and frowned. "I don't really want to spend the night at the airport..."

"Where are we going to go?"

"I found a hotel, if you're up for it," he shrugged. I smiled faintly. "It seems pretty nice, and it will be a lot better than staying at a crowded airport without any blankets or beds."

"Well what are you waiting for, Johnson? Make the reservation!" I said excitedly. He chuckled, nodded and pulled out his phone to make the reservation. "Do hotels even let you check in this late?"

"Apparently this one does," he shrugged. We grabbed our bags and went to stand up but a thought went through my mind. What are we going to do about our flight? "We can just book another flight tomorrow," he said answering my question before I even got the chance to ask it. He always did that and I always swore that he could read my mind. I nodded and we grabbed our luggage and headed for the double doors of the airport. He signaled a taxi and told him the location of the hotel. We were there in about twenty minutes when it only should have taken ten. The traffic was terrible due to the snow and every car was moving at the slowest rate possible. "Thank you, have a nice night," Jack said as he paid the driver. The driver thanked him and wished us a 'Merry Christmas.' "Hmm, looks like there's a lot of people who had the same idea," he said gesturing towards the multiple people filing into the hotel. My eyes grew wide as we approached the building.

After a few minutes of waiting we were finally checked in and on the elevator up to our room. We were lucky enough to land one of the last rooms they had, and it ended up being on one of the top floors. "It's probably a good thing we didn't decide to take the stairs," I said as we finally reached the eleventh floor. He grinned and we found our room without any trouble. He unlocked it and we were greeted with warmth and the smell of air freshener. "This place doesn't look bad at all," I said as we sat down our bags.

He plopped onto the bed and placed his arms behind his bed. He kicked his shoes off and wiggled his eyebrows at me. I giggled and started grabbing stuff from my suitcase. I grabbed my pajama's and started to walk into the bathroom to change. "Why are you going in there? You always change in front of me, and I always enjoy it," he looked at me with a small smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes playfully.

"I have to brush my teeth," I said simply and closed the bathroom door behind me. I heard the TV turn on as I started to slip into my night clothes. I could never stand the feel of pants when I slept so I stayed in my underwear and threw on a baby pink t-shirt. I also threw my hair up and wiped the light makeup off of my face. I covered my toothbrush in toothpaste and began to brush my teeth. I had a catchy song stuck in my head so I started to dance along slightly to the rhythm. The door opened and Jack walked in. He winked we saw what I was wearing to bed. I blushed and tried to shove him out of the door but he resisted. I finally gave up and he stood behind me the entire time I brushed my teeth. "You're kind of weird you know that?" I asked while I rinsed off my toothbrush.

"I'm standing here so I can stare at your ass if I'm being honest," he chuckled. I turned around and glared at him but it soon faded into a playful smile.

"I kind of figured," I walked out of the bathroom and could feel his eyes on me the whole time. I climbed into the bed and he rolled on top of me. "Not tonight," I whined pushing him off of me. He rolled off of the bed and landed with a 'thud' on the carpet. I let out a laugh and he climbed back onto the bed beside me. He fluffed up his dirty blonde hair and his blue eyes scanned my body. "No," I shook my head. I knew exactly what he was thinking.

"Fine," he frowned. I kissed his cheek and he tried to bite on my neck but I pushed him away. I snuggled up to him and he played with my hair and we stared at the moving pictures on the television screen intently. "I'm sorry we have to spend Christmas Eve here, I know you want to be home with your family right now." I looked up at him and he was staring down at me with a sympathetic expression.

"I'm sorry about how I acted at the airport. I didn't mean to blame you. I know I said I didn't want to be stuck here, but I guess it's not that bad..."

"Why is that?" He asked clearly confused.

"Because whenever I'm with you I know that everything will be fine," I said simply. His lips curled into a smile and he leaned down to kiss me.

"I love you."
