Prologue

He met her.

Isa lang ang masasabi niya,

She's way out of his league.

She's the most different from any other women he dated before and it feels new to him. Her tan skin goes along with her face and body. She got this fine mold like a top model in Victoria's Secret and it's tempting.

Their first meeting was a blow but him, holding a precious pride since high school would never let himself be intimidated before second. Silently examining a woman is his field but he just failed upon the catch of their blazing eyes. Her dark eyebrows, curled lashes, sharp nose, and her glossy lips complimented her small face and damn that jawline, it's so beautiful.

"Bakit mo ako bibigyan ng warning, ako ba ang lumabag sa batas ninyo?"

Funny how he ended up being stucked. Gorgeous woman shouldn't be trusted at first. Just how he adored her far but when fate has given them time, the table turned down.

This is not easy.

His trick will be of no use. Brats will be hard to get, well except if you have the currency. And everybody knows how he hates being taken for granted, in some cases tho, he can be.

"Until we meet again, Ms. Arevalo."

When will that time come?

His heart is betraying him and agonizing with his self is difficult. He can't stand accepting the fact that the woman hit him hard. Nonetheless, he's got the title.

Greatest playboy.

Hot jerk.

Decent playboy, decent man.

He's the social jerk of all who doesn't date an astray soul. Yet, this woman who doesn't even have decent job in her age now never left his mind.

"We're having some fun, wanna' join us?"

Fun? Riding a jet ski in the middle of the ocean is really fun but frolicking on his mind is no fun.

It's more than it.

"You saved me?"

Fuck.

He never knew he would touch her lips that easy. They're so tender. Saving her isn't too bad, he thinks.

"Antipatiko."

He's got that. The woman who's head over heels to him just said that words? It's kinda' amazing and thrilling how this lady changes her mood so fast.

"Will my phone number be enough?"

Habang tumatagal, mas nakikilala niya ang mga kilos ng babae at hindi niya akalaing ganoon ito kabilis kumilos. Giving her number to a random guy who she just met is a brave thing to do. Masakit sa mata tingnan kaya hindi na niya iyon pinatagal pa.

She's giving him headache everywhere and there's only a line for Ashen's patience. When it's gone, all will turn out a mess. The control he's been holding on will finally loosen up and he've got the key every women would go after.

"Didn't I told you to stop messing around?"

But his glare feels nothing to her, they merely seem a normal eye contact. How can she be so calm when a hunk is right in front of her.

"Happy Valentine's Day."

It's not the first greeting he received but it's precious as the day.

"I know you've been looking at me so lowly and I don't doubt that because I am! Don't slap it to my face because I know that! Stop making me so clueless because I know! I'm not enough for everybody and I fucking know that! I know it all! Alam ko lahat!"

Being personally hurt at trainings, fights, and encounters are nothing compared to the tears he's witnessing. He hit the weak spot.

"She's pale."

He would not notice it because he's too happy with her that small things are often unseen. He's focused much on her beautiful soul he never knew the woman had.

"Kung nasa harap ka ng babaeng pakakasalan mo, anong sasabihin mo?"

Her beams. Ang gaan sa pakiramdam na pagmasdan ang mga ngiti niya. They are light as feathers. They are bright as sun. They are precious as diamonds. They are real as his love.

"Sir, pinapabigay po ni Ms. Cyra."

A folded paper.

A card in specific.

He's only left with a card along with a condensed message.
