"Okay, I'll be there. What about my plane ticket? Settled na ba?" Cyra kept talking on the phone while looking for the keys in her bag.
["Maayos na nga. Nasaan ka ba? Mahuhuli na rin ako sa meeting ko. Zeven keeps on looking for you."]
"Kaya nga uuwi na. Dumaan lang ako sa mall to get some stuffs."
Hawak na niya ngayon ang susi ng kanyang kotse. Dumiretso na siya sa basement dahil doon nakaparada ang sasakyan niya.
"Tito! I want candies!"
Ashen's nephew has been talking to him about the sweets but he's not good with it.
"No. Papagalitan ka ng mommy mo."
"No! She's not here. She's over there!" Turo pa nito sa grocery store
He's carrying the five-year old boy and he can't resist his cuteness. Natatawa lang siya rito nang bigla pa itong magsalita.
"Tito, you're single right?"
Tumango siya habang namimili sa mga mamahaling bote ng alak.
"Why are you asking?"
Umiling ito. He just patted his head when the boy removed his hand and was urging to go down. Binaba naman niya ito.
"Bakit?" He asked
"The lady, she dropped her wallet!"
Tumakbo ang batang lalaki patungo sa isang pitaka na nahulog nang babae na papalayo na sa kanila. Hindi yata nito napansin.
"Who was that? Huwag kang tatakbo bigla sa susunod ha. Your mom will kill me if something happens to you. Alright?"
The child nodded so cute while holding a black wallet in his two hands.
"What about that? Hindi ba binalikan ng ale?" Tanong pa niya
"No, she walked too fast. She's like a ghost."
"Okay. Let's go. Isasauli natin 'yan."
"Saan po?"
Muli niyang kinarga ang pamangkin. Rio, the young boy is his sister's son. Naunahan pa siya ni Veronica sa pag-papamilya ngunit hiwalay na ito sa asawa sa maraming dahilan.
"Lost and found."
They arrived at the paging station and reported the wallet.
"Pakihanap nalang ho ng may-ari nito. Baka nandito pa siya."
"Yes Sir."
The woman started to announce through the intercom. Meanwhile, Ashen looked down on his nephew.
"Let's go?"
Ngunit umiling ito sa kanya.
"Why?"
"Wala pa po ang owner ng wallet. What if she's bluffing?"
Ashen can't help himself but chuckle. He patted the young boy's head, "you're grown up, huh."
"That's what mommy did when she also found a wallet."
