With both of them gone, I headed to my room. I checked my phone & saw it was fully charged. I saw a flurry of missed calls, voicemails, texts & emails. The most recent ones were from 2 days ago & they were angry. I couldn't blame my family for being pissed. I pulled up his number to get this drama over with.

"If you were sorry, you'd come home now. That little fairy doesn't need any more of your supervision. I'm going to send for you." He snapped
"Don't even try. I'll just send them back. Besides, I can't leave her. Things are a little complicated." I argued
"What the hell could be keeping you?" He hissed
"Fairy Elders ordering the abduction of halflings to the fairy plane. That's why you couldn't find me." I shared
"What? Why would they take you? They had to have recognised you." He asked
"They're scared of us. Paranoia drives people to surprising extremes. Sookie only came to get away from Bill's lying arse & Eric's convenient manipulations." I explained
"I don't know why they didn't know. They might have forgotten or were too young to know." I continued
"That's too bold of them. They need to be punished." He stated
"Agreed but 2 vampires armed to the teeth won't make things easier. Miri could be a useful bridge in keeping things peaceful. But, you, William & Deni should come as back-up." I planned
"Fine. I arrange everything. So this means you're staying?" He sighed
"Until the fairies are handled & they aren't any other dangers." I said
"That'll happen when hell freezes over." He groaned
"It's not my fault she's a danger magnet!" I snapped
"Umm, do you need a minute?" Sook awkwardly asked from the doorway
"We'll talk tomorrow. I still need to know why you bothered Eric." I quickly stated before hanging up
