Tessa P.O.V

I got a decent amount of sleep thanks to Eric. I missed feeling his arms around me in the morning. Sookie & I exchanged looks as we walked down stairs together. I smelled a bunch of breakfast treats from the kitchen. Sam was finishing cooking as he already had two plates ready. He turned around when he heard us come in, just as he fixed himself.

"Hey, sleepy heads. I thought that you might like some breakfast." Sam said as he set the plates down

" Thanks, Sam that's really sweet of you." I croaked out as we ate in silence

Sam gave us our space but tried to cheer us up. He quickly started cleaning up once we finished eating. We got freshened up just as the whole town came for condolences. Tara & Lafayette stayed close to us which was nice. It was exhausting hearing everyone say the same thing & thinking that were were little girls. I was one more apology from losing it so I went outside. A floral delivery man drove up & started to walk to me.

" I'm looking for a Tessa Grant. I have a delivery." the deliveryman said

"That's me. Who's it from?" I replied as I took the fancy arrangement

"Eric Northman." he replied before leaving

I was a little shocked about Erics kindness. It was sweet to see this side of him. I treasured these little moments since he would quickly revert to his cocky self. Just to save his precious reputation as a cold bastard.

I know that these next few days will be tough so I wanted to give you something nice. I hope you like them. But, you can tell me that later tonight. ;)

I smirked a little before composing myself. I used the kitchen door to get back in & slyly tucking it away. My happiness didn't last for long when I found Hoyt's mom taking one of Gran's pies. Like a powder keg, I went off on her.

"Put that fucking pie down! You nosy bitch. How dare you try to eat my gran's pies after all the shit talking you did behind her back. You know what get your fat ass out of my house now!" I screamed as I grabbed her arm & tossed her out. Everyone was starring at me especially Sook, Sam, Tara & Lafayette

"What! Am I a fucking sideshow for you. Take a fucking picture it'll last longer." I angrily screeched as I charged up the stairs to mine & Sooks room. The door muffled some of Sooks shouts before the three of them came in.

"Hey boo, we tossed everyone out for you two. Your house is rodent free now." Lafayette theatrically told me with a big smile

"Thanks hooker. I really appreciate that." I mumbled as Sook joined me on the bed. I instinctively held her close to me as she cried into my shoulder

"I don't mind tossing hillbillies out for you. Pff, I need a less asshole free environment anyway." Tara joked which made me genuinely chuckle & cry

"What would I do without the two of you." I sobbed as I cradled Sook

"Still dressed like a damn nun." Lafayette teased

"Mm have a lot worse anger management issues." Tara suggested

"Bitch, ain't that the pot calling the kettle black." I fired back

We all laughed together for a bit. Tara sat next to Sook to help comfort her while Lafayette was next to me. He held me tightly as I cried into his chest. Our small moment of peace didn't last long once Jason stormed in. He looked completely pissed & his eyes were red indicating that he heard the news. He was on a war path for Sook forcing Tara & lafayette to form shield.
