Another close call (2x03)

Tessa P.O.V

I was barely getting any rest. I was worried that Sook hadn't called. Sam tried to comfort me & cuddled me. I was slowly able to fall asleep but couldn't. I kept moving until I felt absolute terror. I sprang up in bed screaming my head off.

"Maria! You okay?" Sam asked as he held me

"Somethings wrong with Sook. I felt her so scared for her life. It was the same fear she had when Rene was chasing after her. Get my phone, please." I shakily answered

"Yeah, I'll get it now. Dial for bill?" Sam quickly went to the night stand

"yeah." I answered as I felt Sook pass out, "Shit, hurry up!"

"What's wrong?" He asked as he passed the phone

"I can't feel Sook." I quickly explained before answering

"Tessa, Sookie's been attacked by some creature. Come to fangtasia." He quickly answered as Sook softly mumbled

"Ok, I'm coming now." I replied before hanging up

"Need a ride?" Sam offered

"No, I've bothered you enough. Go check on the bar." I urged him

"Alright, I hope she's okay. Let me know." Sam wished me before leaving

I was still dressed in my work clothes so I quickly changed into some fresh clothes. I swapped it out for a loose white v neck, black skinny jeans, sneakers &  a green army jacket. I used my phone to call for a cab & waited on the porch. I locked up when the cab appeared. I hopped in & asked for fangtasia.

The driver noticed my mood & drove faster for me. I got there in 40 minutes & tossed some money in my seat. I dashed out the car & threw open the door.

Sook was laid out on a table with her shirt cut open. A doctor was looking over her & Eric was sitting in front of Sook. She had three deep claw marks on her back. She had lost so much blood. I was completely frozen in shock & barely noticed Bill come up.

"Who did this?" I deadpan asked as my eyes stayed on Sook

"I don't know. She said she saw a bull-man thing in the woods." Bill informed me

"You the sister?" the doctor asked

"Yes." I replied as I went to sit next to Sook & stroked her face

"She's been poisoned. Ever heard of the comodo dragon?" the doctor explained

"yeah but how could she of been scratched by that?" I replied

"The toxin is eerily similar but more effective. My bet is whatever got her wanted to have some fun or else you'd be collecting pieces." She replied as Sook started foaming

"Now we don't have a lot of time. Help me undress her. The rest of you leave. I need space." the doctor ordered

"I will be just outside. I'm so sorry for this." Bill apologised which pissed me off. I harshly gripped the ottoman to keep myself from tearing him apart.

"She's running out of time Mr. Compton." The doc shooed him away. Sook began foaming which scared me to death. I just followed the doctors instructions for her sake.

Eric P.O.V

Bill followed me to the office. In private, I got the full story of the attack. I grinned as he told me everything that happened before. I couldn't wait for Tes to kill him for letting her walk out the car. For now, I played the slightly concerned friend.
