Captured (2x07)

Tessa/ Maria P.O.V

I woke up when the cage clanked shut. I acted like I was still groggy. Newlin & blady were smiling like idiots. I couldn't wait to rip them apart. My anger would make it hard to hide my vampirism. Sookie sensed my anger & held onto me.

"Are you okay?" I asked as I listened for them to leave the basement

"Yeah. You kicked their asses." Sookie smiled

"Wish I did more." I muttered

"You'll get a chance." She replied

"I need to get out of here." Hugo panicked

"So you're really claustrophobic." I laughed

"This isn't funny!" He screamed, becoming more anxious

"Tes, really." She glared before going over to Hugo

"Take a deep breath. Look at me. It's gonna be okay. We're gonna figure this out, all right?" Sookie confidently said. He sat down & slowly breathed.

"Okay. I'm okay." He said

"So we're going to ignore the fact that the Newlins knew exactly who we were once we came. Just like the airport." I sarcastically coughed

"Someone at that nest's a traitor." Sook quickly figured out

"You think a vampire's siding with the Fellowship to get Godric out of the way?" Hugo suggested

"Stan? All this to be sheriff?" I scoffed

"I've heard of ambitious but that's just plain crazy." Sookie agreed

"Well, you've both met him. I mean, he'd rip our throats out for looking at him sideways." he argued

"If it's true, Bill could do a lot worse to him when he finds out." Sookie dreamed as I listened to what was going on upstairs

"Bill had to have sensed my fear. He's gonna come storming through this church any second." Sookie worriedly said

"And you don't seem happy about that because?" He asked

"These fanatics are about to barbecue a 2,000 yr old vampire in front of the entire congregation. Who knows what else they're capable of." Sookie explained

"We have until tomorrow to stop that. Seeing as we're going nowhere soon. We'd all better rest up." Tes ordered

With nothing left to do, we tried to make our spots as cozy as possible. Thankfully, there were some blankets. Sookie snuggled close to me. I was closer to the door between the two of us. If anything happened, I could quickly shield her. Hugo was forced to be in the centre. Despite our situation, Sookie quickly fell asleep, probably since she knew I'd kill anyone who went near her. I wasn't going to get any sleep & tried texting Eric on my spare phone. Hopefully, something would get through. 

Sookie P.O.V

"Morning. Refreshments? How'd y'all sleep?" Steve annoyingly asked. I groggily woke up but Tes was up & ready for anything.

"They're coming for us. You know!" I snapped

"That's what I thought. I figured that pretty girls like you would have some vamps running off to their rescue. We were hoping for it, weren't we Gabe?" Steve cockily fired back 

"Yes, sir. Bring it on." He agreed

"They're ready for you, have been for a long time. You're going to get everyone here killed. So let us go." Tes argued but took a defensive stance
