New story!!! Anyways, I know all of my stories involves Natsu or Lucy in business and rich crap, but hey, can you blame me? It's the only reasonable explanation to saving each other(although money doesn't always solve everything, it solves some things) Lol, enjoy!
{Natsu POV}
I entered the plane, sighing.
"Finally!" I said, laughing.
"Hello, sir."
"Hey." I said. "I'm going home today, right? No funny business? No 'Don't come home yet' stuff?"
"No sir, the chairman has informed me to send you back home immediately."
"Huh. I wonder why." I shrugged. "Oh well. Thanks!"
He bowed, and left.
"Ahh. Let's go!"
{Lucy POV}
I woke up to the gentle shakes of a familiar, large hand.
"Lucy? Lucy, wake up, its morning." I groaned, sleepy.
My hands moved around in the familiar feel of the sheets. His big hand wrapped around mine.
"Papa?"
"Oh, you recognized me a bit faster today." His deep, yet calming voice rang in my ears.
I smiled, sitting up.
"What time is it, Papa?"
"Don't worry, you won't be late. You have time to shower and eat. Take your time, okay?"
I nodded.
Darkness was a very normal thing I saw in my regular, daily life. It was something I'm used to.
Papa helped me grab my glasses.
"Should I go call Mom? Or Eagle?"
"I think Eagle will do. Thanks, Papa."
"Alright. Eagle! Come here, boy!"
Clap clap clap!
I heard heavy panting and light footsteps, and something big and furry collided with my leg.
"Hey, Eagle!" I said, patting his body.
"Arf!"
Papa gave me his leash, and Eagle led me into my bathroom.
With the help of Eagle, I managed to take a shower without dying.
"What's for breakfast?" I asked, walking down the stairs slowly.
"Oh, honey! You got ready on your own today!" Mom's warm hand wrapped around my left hand.
"Eagle helped me." I said, grabbing tightly as I let Eagle go.
"That's great improvement, dear." Mom said, kissing my cheek. "We have croissants today."
I smiled.
Mom led me towards the familiar kitchen. The smell of baked croissants filled my nose.
"Lucy!" Warm arms wrapped around me. The smell of cologne filled my nose.
"Hey Sting."
Sting was my twin brother.
"You ready to eat?" I nodded. Sting grabbed my hand gently and helped me into my seat.
"Morning, kiddo." A big, calloused hand patted my head.
"Good morning, Laxus Nii-Chan."
I heard chairs move and scrape the floor. The clink of a plate told me that it was placed in front of me.
"Let's eat!"
My hands felt around for a fork. I felt the cold metal and grabbed it, feeling the bottom. It was a fork.
I jabbed it gently into my food, and started to eat.
"You're getting better at feeding yourself." Papa said. "Ms. Mira is a great teacher, don't you think?"
"Mira's great at everything." Laxus said. His teeth clanked against his fork. Mira and Laxus were in a relationship, and she had invited me into a class she taught at my school for the legally disabled.
After breakfast, Sting followed me into my room and helped me pack.
"You know, I don't really think you should go—"
"Sting, are you still talking about those students?"
"Yes! I can't even be with you the entire day. How do you expect to have a calm day?"
I smiled, as I felt around for my folder. "Don't worry, Sting. You worry too much."
He held my hand and a ruffle of papers told me that he put the folder in for me. "Alright. Just be careful, okay?"
I nodded. He led me back downstairs and gave me Eagle's leash and my stick.
"Be careful!"
I folded my stick up and put it into my bag. Sting grabbed my hand.
"Let's go." He pulled me away from the house. My glasses hung loosely on my face.
"You think I'll make some new friends today?"
"Why do you ask that everyday?" Sting asked.
"To gain hope." I replied, as a Eagle carefully led me. "I want friends again."
Sting didn't reply. I felt his hand tense. I could tell he was upset. His steps sounded a bit...hesitant.
"Don't worry." I said, hugging his arm. "I'm okay, really."
Sting patted my head. "Alright."
It didn't even bother me that he didn't answer my question.
