I never hated you and I never will
You made me who I am today and much more
You gave me options in life that I never saw
I can't thank you enough for opening that new door
A door that leads to new and different worlds
And inside, the real beginning of my life
I know how we differ in opinion and belief
But my love for you, far outweighs the strife
