Once a thing of great beauty diluted by unseen truth
Vanity shearing away, marring all I thought before
No longer captivating, dead of allure and appeal
One look was never enough, with each mirror you lust for more
Now a spectacle for all, the ugly in neon lights
Energy lost in toil, one powerless to restore
Inviting spirit is gone, emptied of all fair nature
Leaving only repulsive self-love, we yearn to abhor
