Like the land in the ocean
Grasped tightly in the hand
When time has already told
You can't hold onto sand
Pouncing around, place to place
I am a feral cat
I don't want your house, no thanks
Out of my habitat
I appreciate the gesture
But this is not my home
Couldn't tell you where that is
I really like to roam
I go where my tail takes me
Journeying across the seas
Jumping through the roaring waves
A dolphin in the breeze
Like a rose I wilt inside
I need the sun like air
Spirit needs enlightenment
Like France needed Voltaire
My life is one adventure
There are no limits here
Strutting around the world
Jaunting through atmosphere
Confine this hawk to a cage
My wings are my escape
I don't need to be batman
When my mind is my cape
