What happened to us, world?
The fuel inside burned out.
Flickering, until dimmed of any faint light.
We used to care.
We used to try.
Gone are those days.
Blasé while all around us starts to die.
Dismissing the rotting world, numb to the problems insurmountable.
Nonchalant as the soil crumbles below the feet.
The careless will fall with the ground too.
Those who survive - are those who try.
