I don't care about money
I don't respond to cut jewels
Flashing fancy clothes and cars
All I see are mundane tools
Lives wasted by mere objects
I am really not impressed
Eyes of deep sadness under
All of the bling I detest
Shielding insecurities
Centered on labels and brands
Just to be eaten by moths
Time shows what truly withstands
Stop opening your wallet
Just for the others to see
Leave behind "J.P. Morgan"
Then you'll finally be free
Fingers don't need to sparkle
When you have the stars above
The world will shine within you
With a perspective of love
