Chapter 32: A Trip to Hogsmeade

Me and Cedric hardly got a wink of sleep, we spent the whole night partying and dancing until we dropped. We both woke up on the couch of the hufflepuff common room snuggled up into eachothers arms, I was snuggled into his chest when I glanced up to meet his face, I started to giggle to myself because Cedric had drool coming from his mouth. "Someone slept well," I said laughing.

My voice startled Cedric awake and he rapidly looked around the room to re engage with his surroundings. I laughed at his panicked behaviour and he finally snapped out of it to look at me. "What the bloody hell happened last night?" he asked looking at me, I ignored his question and motioned to the drool still on his chin "You got a little" I said pointing to it.

He quickly realized what I was saying and wiped his chin while making a disgusted sound. I laughed again and he slowly joined in before speaking "You didn't answer my question" he said. "I don't know but I guess you could say we partied too hard" we both shared a laugh before it died off to us staring into each other's eyes.

I admired all of his handsome features, from the curve of his jawline, his gorgeous eyes, how his hair was placed so perfectly, and I could tell he was doing the same "Wanna do something today?" Cedric asked sweetly, breaking eye contact.

I felt myself blush and I bit my lip "Like what?" I responded. "Well since it's the weekend, how about a trip to hogsmeade hm?" He asked, bringing his hand up to my face to put a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Aww Ceddie that sounds wonderful darling!" I giggled and placed a soft kiss on Cedric's lips. He smiled into the kiss before I pulled away, "Well we better get ready before Hogsmeade is flooded with everyone else." I said, Cedric chuckled and nodded his head in agreement.

I finished getting dressed in my everyday clothes and I entered the common room to meet with Cedric. When I entered he wasn't there just yet which surprised me since guys are usually the ones to finish getting ready first.

I waited in the common room for a moment when I saw him appear, he was dressed in a casual yet stylish outfit "Took you long enough Ced" i said teasing him, he laughed and walked up to me to give me a hug "All this takes time my love" he said sarcastically and we both laughed together.

He brought me into a hug and my god he smelled amazing, like firewood and cologne, his scent was addicting "My god you smell good Ced" I complimented him while pulling out of the hug. I saw him blush but I could see his ego had boosted. "Thank you darling" he thanked me and leaned down to kiss me, but instead of kissing me he went straight to my neck.

I was caught off guard and instantly got butterflies, he went from my neck to just under my jawline and then to my lips. I was enchanted by his scent and the kiss "That was new" I said breath taken and he slightly laughed before getting worried "Was it bad?" he asked, now feeling nervous.

"Oh god no, I loved it." I responded reassuringly, his ego instantly returned "Yeah? I'll be sure to do it more often." he said flirtatiously as he winked at me. I felt myself blush and I softly smiled to myself "Well we better get going love." I said coming around to his side to hold his hand.

"Yes we should, my darling," he said, giving my hand a light squeeze and leading the way to the door of the common room.

We arrived at the entrance of hogsmeade and like we both guessed, it was packed with fellow students from hogwarts. The recent snow had melted away since Christmas and the weather was nice. "Fancy a butterbeer y/n/n?" Cedric asked looking at you.

You looked back at him "Yes that'd be wonderful Ceddie" I responded. "Alright butterbeer it is" He said with a smile and he started to pull you along into The Three Broomsticks laughing the whole way.
