Chapter 24: The Announcement

Love Potion y/n POV:

You woke up snuggled into Draco's chest, it was late at night and everyone was asleep. After your picnic with Cedric and Draco and his little argument Draco took you back to his dorm and you fell asleep in eachothers arms. His chest slowly moved up and down as he breathed, he looked so peaceful. You then rest your head into the crook of his neck before falling back to sleep.

It was morning now and you once again woke up, but this time Draco wasn't there, in fact no one was. You got up frantically and thankfully you had fallen asleep in your uniform, your robes and school supplies were folded neatly at the end of the bed as well. After you got dressed you left the dorm room and no one was in the common room except for Draco who was waiting for you.

"Did you sleep well doll?" he asked walking up to me, I was about to reply when I felt a huge sensation of deja vu. This wasn't right, he wasn't right, this all seemed familiar but it wasn't with the right person. You didn't know what it was but it was strong. Draco noticed your sudden weird behavior.

"Y/n what is it? What's wrong?" he asked as he frantically came to hold me in his arms. "I don't know I just got a weird feeling all of a sudden" I responded "That's odd, perhaps you're hungry?" he said, pulling away from me to hold my hand. "Come on doll, let's go get something to eat" he said walking you out of the common room.

We made it down to the great hall for breakfast and the feeling of deja vu was still in action but you didn't want to alarm Draco so you kept it to yourself. Without even noticing you were already seated at the slytherin table and Draco had already put a plate in front of you.

Your mind was fuzzy and you felt nauseous *what's wrong with me?* you thought. You decided perhaps food was the answer to your problem so you started scarfing down your food.

Cedric POV:

Y/N was nowhere in sight and I was starting to get worried if Draco had done something with her, but to my relief she was seated right next to him at the slytherin table. She seemed to look fine at first glance but as I watched her she seemed a little off. I couldn't tell what it was that was off, but I just got that vibe.

I took my seat at the Hufflepuff table, not taking my eyes off of y/n, as I continued to watch her she started scarfing down food. This was unlike her and I was starting to get worried. If it were me next to her I would be taking care of her but Malfoy was as clueless as ever to y/n's behavior.

As she ate her demeanor was getting a bit better and she soon seemed fine. But it still irked me to see her in any discomfort whatsoever. I took a deep breath in to calm myself down and I too started to eat.

Love Potion y/n POV:

I started to feel better after eating. Before I knew it, it was time to go to our classes, since I had my first class with Draco we walked together to potions. When we all took our seats I sat next to Draco. After getting started on my work, in walked Cedric who took his seat right next to mine and Draco's table.

We both shared a sweet glance with one another and he winked at me. Something about all of his actions seemed so right unlike Draco's. I wasn't sure why but it just did. From the picnic, to our almost kissing moments, to even him calling me love, it just seemed so right for some reason.

Snapes mysterious voice broke me away from my thoughts as he began to speak. He started explaining a potion that we'd be making today, something called amortentia. It was apparently a potion where it smells differently to each person based on what attracts them.
