It was the next morning and you woke up late, "ah crap i'm going to be late" you thought to yourself. You quickly jumped out of bed and scurried to your dresser to put on your uniform and your robe, you quickly rushed to do your hair and you grabbed your books and headed out of your dorm.
You got down into the common room and headed out the door. While on your way to your first class of the day you walked through the courtyard and saw Draco sitting in a tree with all of his friends around, when he then called out to you "Hey y/n, going somewhere?" he asked tauntingly "i-im just going to class" you replied nervously *Is he mad at me?* you thought to yourself. "Well why don't you come and walk with me instead hm?" he commented
"Oh and why would I do that?" you replied sarcastically "Because if you don't i'm going to make you go with me" he replied. In the distance of the courtyard you heard a familiar voice "Hey half wit why don't you back off?!" Cedric said *It's Cedric! Oh thank god* you thought to yourself "And what are you going to do about it if I don't Diggory?" *Draco replied back while jumping out of the tree*

"What am I going to do? I'll end you Malfoy." Cedric replied in a snarky tone spitting at his feet. "End me?" *he started to laugh* "You, are going to end...me?" *hahahahhahahaha* "Your really to funny Diggory thinking that you would have any chance against me" Draco said
*Who does Draco really think he is?* you thought "Boys please just knock it off, I need to get going" you commented "nuh uh you really think im just going to let him go without an apology towards you?" Cedric commented
"It's fine I dont care I dont need an apology." you replied "Yeah Diggory, the women can handle herself now move along." Draco commented. *Cedric rolled his eyes and grabbed a hold of your wrist pulling you away from everyone* "agh!" you exclaimed while being dragged away
*Cedric walked you all the way into the building and into an empty hallway, corning you against the wall* "Cedric what are you doing??" you asked "Why are you putting up with him?!
I care about you y/n and i don't know why im being picked second best to a prick like him." he commented "He's just jealous Cedric, we have had feelings for eachother since we were just kids." you replied "Why do you think he feels jealous? hm? *Cedrics tone got lower and more sincere*
It's because he can see that we have chemistry together and it drives him mad, he sees that you have feelings for me as well" he exclaimed "Cedr-" you tried to speak but he cut you off
"Don't even try to deny it I know you have feelings for me y/n and i have feelings for you too, and if that's how awful Malfoy is now how do you think it's going to be if you get in a relationship with him??" He commented *He raised his hand up to your chin lightly holding it* "I would never treat you the way he's treats you y/n" *he lowered his hand from your chin and backed up away from you* "Just keep me that in your mind y/n" *he walked off back into the courtyard*
I had gotten up early that day and went down to the courtyard to hangout with some friends before I had to go to class. While hanging out with them I heard y/n "i-im just going to class" "Well why don't you come and walk with me ....." I looked over and saw y/n talking to that awful half-wit, she seemed pretty flustered and like she needed help so I walked over to defend her. "...Because if you don't i'm going to make you go with me" I overheard Draco say that and thats when I decided to but in "Hey half wit why don't you back off?!" i exclaimed
I saw y/n's face light up with relief when she saw me come to defend her. "And what are you going to do about it if I don't Diggory?" Draco replied back while jumping out of the tree.
