Chapter 29: Catching Up

A/N: ah yes finally we are cured from the love potion and i no longer have to use "y/n love potion pov" we are finally back to normal.

Y/n POV:

The blinding sun pierced my closed eyelids, and the chatter of voices slowly woke me. I fluttered my eyes open to a group of people all surrounded around me Hermione, Cedric, Harry, Ron, and even Draco. They all stared at me with concern but also relief.

I had no recollection as to why they were here or why I was in.... the hospital wing? I was about to speak to get some answers but the clicking of heels coming towards us broke my train of thought.

Madam Pomfrey came trotting up with a tray of food in her hands, as she walked up to us she divided in between Cedric and Harry to get to me. "Oh! Glad your awake dearie, now I know how foreign this must all seem but soon enough one of your friends will fill you in on everything!" she said.

I was beyond confused and had no idea what was going on. "But before we get into that, why don't you have something to eat?" she said while setting the tray down in front of me. The food looked to die for, so I engaged in it without a second thought.

As I consumed the warm bowl of soup Madam Pomfrey gave me, Cedric was giving me the most soft and gentle eyes. I felt myself melt into his features as we shared eye contact. He slowly opened his mouth to speak but Hermione got to it before him.

"How are you feeling y/n?" she said with concern. I finished another sip of the soup and responded "A bit fuzzy but alright" I said with a soft smile. Me and Cedric still shared strong eye contact. I was so lost in his eyes.

As we stared a bit longer I noticed he had tears developing in his eyes, I became concerned at his distraught "Whats wrong Ced?" I asked. The biggest smile grew on his face at the nickname and the tears that were glistening in his eyes had now fallen down his flushed cheeks.

"Nothing, i've just missed you y/n/n" everyone watched the two of you share the special moment. You too started developing tears in your eyes "I've missed you too Ced" you responded. The feeling of goosebumps coursed through your body.

If it weren't for the rest of everyone being in the room you two would've taken each other into one another's embrace right then and there.

The moment was broken when Harry then spoke up "You got a lot to be caught up on y/l/n" he said with a laugh and a smile. You smiled back "Yeah I guess I do, how long have I been... y'know?" you asked, the entire group of em all turned their heads to Draco who had been staring at you the whole time.

Cedric gave Draco a dirty look and spoke "Yeah how long did you put her under a love potion Draco?" he said, cocking an eyebrow. You felt a pit form in your stomach "A w-what? You put me under a what?!" You felt yourself growing hot with anger as you sat up out of your bed, moving your food aside.

Draco clearly saw you and Cedric ganging up on him and became extremely flustered. Under Ron's breath he muttered "Oh this'll be good" and he slowly backed away. "Y-y/n you d-don't understand!" Draco said putting his hands in front of him and also backing away as your feet reached the floor.

"What's there to understand Draco?! YOU PUT ME UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A LOVE POTION?!" you boomed in the hospital wing, a smirk grew on Cedric's face and his eyes were fixated on you.

Cedric POV:

y/n yelled at Draco, she never looked so hot doing so. Seeing her angry and flustered was enough to take anyone's breath away. She walked closer to Draco who was petrified with fear and she began to boom again.

"GO ON! I WANNA HEAR WHAT THE GREAT DRACO MALFOY HAS TO SAY FOR HIMSELF!" she yelled again, Draco's face was pale white and I had never been more pleased. "Yeah go on Draco, explain yourself" I said with a smirk and my arms crossed.
