Chapter 38: All Wrapped Up

A/N: Oh jesus christ, there are no excuses, I am that stereotypical writer who makes a story and leaves it with no ending or a rushed one. It's currently summer right now and it been a whole god damn year since I touched this story and most of the readers who I had attached to this story are over it, I would be too ;-;. But any who life is crazy and i'm bored during the summer and remembered how much fun I had creating this story and how I hadn't finished it. So here I am doing the final chapter once and for all.

Y/N POV: I woke up to the sun beaming into the common room, the bright light bringing me out of my sleep. Cedric's arm wrapped around my waist tightly and I feel his warm breath brush against the back of my neck. I shift around until I am facing him, he looks so peaceful when he's asleep, I leave a soft kiss on his cheek and a soft smile appears on his face. God was he gorgeous, the way his messy bedhead hair was framing his face, small strands of it had fallen in the perfect spots, I loved him so so much.

He too slowly blinked awake, his eyes meeting mine and that soft smile from earlier appeared once more "Morning gorgeous" he whispered in a raspy morning voice "Morning handsome" I whispered back. We laid there for a short while longer until we finally got off the couch and ready for the day

~ A look into how the rest of the week had went ~

The rest of the week was complete and utter bliss filled with double dates with Draco and Briella, a few fun and ~intense~ nights, falling asleep in the common room together, taking trips to the three broomsticks for some butterbeer and a makeout session in the dark of a hidden booth, and just spending lots of time together living up our last week of school before summer break.

The last day of school had come too soon and everyone at Hogwarts had packed their things and were saying their goodbyes before heading onto the train. Closing up my trunk with the last few of my things, I headed downstairs into the common room to meet up with Cedric, meeting the floor I saw Cedric sitting on the couch and gazing into the fireplace when his head turned to me, his face immediately lighting up.

I don't understand how I always still got butterflies whenever he smiled at me, or even looked at me for that matter, I don't think I could ever be sick of him or the way he made me feel. He got up from the couch and walked over to me, leaning down and taking my trunk from my hands so that I didn't have to carry it and leaving a kiss on my lips as he stood back up. "Ready to go y/n/n?" he asked sweetly. "I think so," I replied.

We had reached the train station where the majority of the Hogwarts students and teachers had been congregating and saying their goodbyes. In the crowd I locked eyes with Draco and Briella and smiled at them. Motioning them over my way they obliged and made their way over to me and Cedric "Hey guys!" Cedric said enthusiastically "Hey mate" said Draco "Hi" said Briella.

"You guys want to sit together on the train?" I had asked the two of them "Sure!" they said in unison. We made our way onto the train after speaking to a few friends, and making ourselves comfortable in a compartment on the train. Cedric and Draco had taken the honor of putting our bags up so that they were out of our way while on the ride home.

After a short while of getting situated comfortably on the train, both Draco and Briella had dozed off to sleep already with Draco asleep on Briella's shoulder and her head laying on his. It was quite cute actually. I had rested my head in Cedric's lap as he absentmindedly brushed his hand through my hair. Looking up at him I smiled softly and so did he. "It's funny" I said "What is?" Cedric asked "How much everything has changed" I said.

Cedric gave me a soft smile and just listened as I started talking more "I mean like I came into this school year having no idea who you even were and my heart set on Draco, until I met you. It's like I knew at that moment that everything was going to be different, and that everything was going to change." I paused for a moment.

"And like I never would've guessed to be in a serious relationship by the end of the year with someone who I love as much as I do, and just everything it's mind blowing!" I said, taking a deep breath. Cedric just smiled at me "And I never would've had it any other way, I'm so grateful with the way things ended up, with such an amazing girlfriend and friends and I wouldn't want it any other way." he finished.

We both just smiled at each other and began to laugh at all the ranting we both just did, the compartment was beyond cozy and filled with a comforting silence, we both gazed at each other and it was as if we read one another's minds "I love you" we both said in unison.

We continued to talk about the summer and how Ced had wanted me to come and see him often throughout the summer and stay with him for a few weeks, and with him coming to my place as well. We talked about the things we wanted to do and places we wanted to see together and how excited we were. We talked for a couple hours of the train ride until we both had finally drifted off to sleep.

A/N: And this concludes "The Love Triangle" I wanted to keep the ending short and sweet, plus I really just wanted to finally finish this story after so long, Cedric and y/n you could say lived "happily ever after" but that is so beyond cheesy, but it's a good ending, they both stayed connected with Draco and Briella and were great friends with them. I want to thank you all so much for reading this story and supporting me throughout it all, i'm so beyond grateful for the love this story has received and I hope you loved reading it as much as I loved writing it, i'll probably write more stories in the future depending on how I feel but for now atleast I have one completed story that im thoroughly happy with. I wish you beautiful people an amazing day/night and I love you all mwah <3
