Chapter 13 : Studying

It was the next morning and you had just finished getting ready. You had gone down to the great hall to eat breakfast, when you had got down there you saw Cedric talking to his mates, you quickly made your way to a seat by yourself and you tried your best to avoid being seen by him but it was too late he had already spotted you "y/n!" he called out

*You sighed and quickly acted like everything was alright* "Hi Cedric!" you called back *he mad his way over to you and sat down right next to you* "So how'd you sleep last night?" he asked politely "I slept surprisingly well last night, and you?" you responded with a smile "I slept pretty good too considering James loud snoring all night" Cedric responded with a little chuckle

"James is just a made up friend i made for Cedric"

You giggled along with him and reached for a piece of toast *the laughing had come to a stop and there was an awkward silence* "So... I wanted to ask you something" Cedric said while scratching the back of his neck *your heart immediately started pounding* "Oh uh sure go for it" you said with a courtesy laugh "Well I was wondering if you wanted to do some studying together after school? Cedric asked nervously

*You took a bite of your toast* "Ohm... yeah sure that'd be great!" you responded while still finishing your toast "Great! I'll be waiting in the common room after school!" Cedric said smiling at you "Sounds good, I'm looking forward to it!" you responded also with a smile.

~Some time later~

You had just finished your second class of the day and you now had a free period *I think i'll read a book* you though, you knew just the right spot that was nice and quiet to read. You made your way to the Hufflepuff house to grab your book, after grabbing said book you made your way to your little spot.

You had first discovered it in your first year at Hogwarts and you've been going there since if you ever needed some time for yourself. It was a cozy windowsill that had the best view, after you got there you immediately made yourself comfortable and began to read.

You were so involved with the book you didn't even hear the set of footsteps approaching you "y/n?" a voice had said. *You jolted slightly and slowly looked up to see who it was* "Oh, hi Draco.." you responded with a cold undertone "How did you find me?" you asked "You forget that I was with you the day we both found this" he said with a slight chuckle that quickly ended "May I sit?" he asked politely "Yeah i guess" you responded making room for him to sit.

"I wanted to say i'm sorry.." Draco said sincerely "I know I've been a total toad to you lately and I'm sorry, I just hate seeing you with anyone else, it makes me very jealous." Draco said looking at the floor. *you slowly look up at him and could tell how bad he felt* "Thank you Draco, for apologizing" you said raising a hand to his shoulder rubbing it to comfort him* he smiled and put his hand on yours intertwining your fingers

"I promise I will try to work on it y/n" draco said "Thank you" you said while looking at him and giving him a smile. *after a little while of the two of you talking about all kinds of things it was time for you to go to your next class*

~Some time later~

You had finally finished all your classes for the day and it was time to go study with Cedric. You packed up your books and made your way to the hufflepuff common room. When you arrived you saw Cedric sitting in a chair by the fire "Hey beautiful!" he said with a smile on his face, getting up to give you a hug.

"Hey Cedric!" you responded hugging him back "Ready to get to work?" Cedric asked, pulling away and making his way back to his seat. "Yup!" you responded enthusiastically *You pulled up a chair to a table that was close to Cedric and the two of you got on to studying* After some time went by of the two of you hard at work studying, Cedric had grown bored and put his books down.

When trying to find something else to do he looks over and sees you, he begins to watch you hard at work admiring your every move. You too had grown bored and decided to take a break, you stood up and grabbed all your books and belongings and put them in your bag.

All the while Cedric was still watching you *not in a creepy way* he couldn't take his eyes off of you, the way your hair fell in front of your face, the way your hands moved so delicately, he couldn't control himself. That's when Cedric had gotten up from his chair and walked behind you.

He placed his hands on your waist and spinned you around, he then gently pushed you against the wall *your heart started pounding out of your chest* "Cedric what are you doi-" Cedric had cut you off by kissing you. He raised his hand up to your face and used his thumb to lightly rub your cheek while continuing to make out with you.

At first you were caught off guard but then you slowly started to give in, you both started making out with a smooth rhythm, and at the same time you both pulled away to catch some air "You have no idea how long i've wanted to do that y/n" Cedric said with a smile on his face. "And you have no idea how glad I am that you did it" you responded back.

Still smiling you saw Cedric slowly go back in for another kiss but that's when his friend James came in. "Uh- am I interrupting something?..." James asked looking awkward, you both quickly pulled away from each other "N-no your f-fine" Cedric responded nervously "Well if you'll excuse me" James said quickly going up the stairs to the boy dormitories.

You both started to burst out with laughter "That was a close one huh?" Cedric said while running his hands through his hair "Yeah it was" you giggled in response "Well I think it was a pretty good study session if I do say so myself" Cedric said laughing "I agree" you said "Well it's getting pretty late we should probably go to bed" Cedric said "Yeah we should" you responded

*you picked up all your belongings and made your way up the stairs to the girls dormitory "Goodnight Cedric" you said smiling "Good night beautiful" Cedric said in response.

FINALLY, Cedric finally made a move aghhh!! Also I may start another fanfiction but it'll be about Fred Weasley x reader. Tell me what you think and if you'd be down to read it!
