Chapter 27: The Yule Ball

Love Potion y/n POV:

The day before went well and you felt excited at all of the champions successes in capturing the golden egg. It was now the next day and you were even more excited because today was the day of the yule ball. When you awoke in your own dorm all the girls were all getting ready for the ball.

Getting ready for the ball was a whole day process for all the girls, we all had to start with the hair and makeup, then the dress, and shoes, and accessories, and so on. You didn't really know any of the girls all too well and decided that you'd rather get ready with a friend. So you decided to head to the gryffindor tower to get ready with Hermione.

You had arrived at the tower and you brought your dress and all the other things you needed to get ready. You were about to knock on the portrait door but to your surprise Hermione opened the door.

She was carrying her dress and all her makeup too, it seemed as though she had the same idea as you, she began to laugh "You beat me to it y/n!" she said with a smile, you began to laugh along with her "Yeah I guess I did!" you replied "Well since you're already here, we can get ready in my dorm." Hermione said.

She moved to the side and let you in, you walked into the common room being only filled with the gryffindor boys, it seemed none of them cared too much about getting ready so soon because they were all playing board games and just hanging out.

You weren't all that surprised though because it had been the same way for the Hufflepuff common room. You walked past Harry and Ron who both waved to you and Hermione and you both waved back.

Finally, you and Hermione had entered the girl's dormitory and all the girls in there were also getting ready, a smile grew on your face. They all were a fit of giggles as they helped each other do their hair and makeup. You felt at home instantly, Hermione too was smiling when you arrived at her bed.

You plopped your stuff onto it and opened your bag of accesories, makeup, and the other things you needed to get ready. Hermione followed suit, placing her things on the bed, she had a gorgeous ombre pink to purple flowy dress picked out.

"Ok! Who's first!" she asked looking at you clapping her hands together. You giggled "How about I do you first!" you said with a smile, "Well alright!" she said smiling. She walked over to a chair and pulled it back towards her bed before taking a seat, Hermione had very healthy and wavy hair, you started playing with it and thinking what you should do with it and then an idea popped up in your head.

You got to work curling and pinning and styling Hermione's hair, you decided to give her a pretty updo with curly tendrils

After about two hours of doing Hermione's hair it was finally done, she looked so pretty, as a finishing touch you put cute clips to enhance it.
