Chapter 12: Chit Chat

You had just finished all your classes for the day and were heading to the hufflepuff common room, but you found yourself struggling to focus all day from what happend this morning *I can't believe Cedric admitted to having feelings for me, and I know I like him too but it just seems so unfair to Draco* *We have liked eachother since we were kids, but I can't help but admit that Cedric could be right, if he's this toxic now how is he going to be in an actual relationship?*

You continued on walking when you came across Hermione "Hey Hermione!" you exclaimed to her *she abruptly turned around and had a big smile on her face* "Hey y/n! Where have you been!" she said while running to you to give you a big hug.

She crashed into you giving you a hug "Blimey i've missed you so much y/n" she commented while pulling away and starts walking beside you "I've missed you too! It's been a while" you replied "Yeah it sure has, do you have anything new or interesting going on at the moment?" she asked

"Actually for once yeah I do!" you replied "Well don't keep me waiting! Fill me in" she replied "Aright, alright" you said while laughing "Ok so you know how me and Malfoy have been bestfriends since our first years right?" you said "Yeah of course, who doesnt know that" she said laughing "Thats fair, well we have both had feelings for eachother the entire time" you said

"Well I think everyone noticed you two were always a little flirty with eachother and a little more than just friends." Hermione said laughing. "Really? huh- I never realized that" you said "Yeah, well now get on with it" she replied, you laughed "Ok,ok, well when we saw eachother at Kings Cross, we sat together on the train, but while on our way there he finally made a move on me, he held my hand , well, with a little bit of help from me" you replied giggling to yourself

"NO WAY! finally!" Hermione responded joyfully "Oh its only gets better, when he held my hand he also kissed it, we were both blushing messes and the tension was strong, and thats when I turned to him and we ended up kissing!" you said excitedly "Blimey! That's amazing y/n!" she replied.

"Yeah it was, and then the rest of the train ride we cuddled, now thats all the good stuff but then it got all complicated." you said "Go on" hermione responded "Now some time after that, I was hanging out in the hufflepuff common room and I saw the new boy, Cedric, we ended up flirting a little bit, and we went to eat in the great hall together, and Draco noticed it" you said pausing for a moment

"Lets just say he wasn't to happy about it...Well that's an understatement he was furious with Cedric for talking to me, Draco was very jealous." you said "Oh no, that all changed quickly" Hermione said awkwardly laughing "Yeah it did, and then later Draco asked me to meet him in the restricted section of the library at 2 in the morning, it caught me off gaurd, but he said it was cause he wanted to ask me something" you went on

"So i obliged and went to meet him, when I got there he had mad a cute little set up of blankets and pillows for us to relax on, he had dressed up quite nicely, as did i, when he went on to ask me if there was anything going on between me and Cedric, and which at the time was true...but when i told him no he didnt believe me and started to get angry with me" you said taking a deep breath.

"He kept getting more and more angry the more i told him nothing was going on and while he was scolding me i cut him off by kissing him, and soon after that i reassured him again that nothing was going on and thats when he too cut me off by kissing me back harder, and we spent the rest of the night doing so..." you said

Hermione stared at you with her mouth a gape "wow-" hermione said shocked "and thats not even half of it!" you said "Im just going to sum the rest of it up quickly" you said "ok im ready" hermione said "Ok so the next day Cedric wanted to walk with me to our first period, and so we did, we ended up sitting together, and thats when Draco walked in and sat at the table right next to us, a little while later Cedric passed me a note and Draco noticed"

"So obviously after last night that had pissed him off, and they glared at eachother, and when the class ended they had both vanished and were outside fighting with one another, after some hurtful words were said Draco wound up running out of the circle as if he was about to cry" you said

.....Hermione continued to listen as you filled her in on everything that had happend in the past few days. "Aannnd thats it" you said as you just finished filling her in "Well ill be damned y/l/n I haven't ever expierenced anything that crazy throughout my whole life and here you are expierencing it in just a few day!" hermione said laughing "Well now that you are filled in on everything what do you think i should do?" you asked politely

"Well I can't help but admit that Cedric has a point, Draco is being crazy, and thats only going to worsen if you two get in a relationship, so unless he cleans up his act, you should go for Cedric, he seems like a great person that will treat you right." Hermione said with a smile on her face "Thanks Hermione it really means alot, i've needed someone to talk to about all this and you were perfect." you said

"Anytime! That's what friends are for!" hermione said "Well I better get off to my dorm" you said while sighing "Yeah me too, ill see you around y/n!" hermione said going in for a hug "alright see you!" you said hugging her back.
