12. qudditch and fights

The rest of the day drags on as your anxious to see what's going to happen at the game. You don't really pay attention in class and just doze off in your thoughts. Something startles you when it slowly lands on your textbook in front of you, a note shaped like a bird. You open the note and it reads...
Calm down love, pay attention. No need to fail cause of an asshole. Don't worry about the game, I'm gonna whip his ass for touching my girl. I love you -DM
You look over at him and you see him smirking as he's working in his textbook. You look at Alice and she rolls her eyes as she continues her work. That note helps you pay attention in the rest of your classes and urges you to get work done. Finally, the day ends and you can go to the game. You and Alice go to your dorms to drop off your books and exchange your robes for coats. You both walk down to the quidditch field excited for the game.

Alice: By the way, no one saw you and Draco leave the Great Hall at lunch. No one was paying attention. When Cedric hit the floor he passed out, he must have been wasted.
You: Well, that's a relief.
Alice: You two need to be more careful, if you don't want anyone to find out.
You: Yeah, I know.

You both take your seats in the Slytherin tower and wait for the game to start.

You: Because we have been so wrapped up in my drama, I need to hear about your life. Tell me something. Is there any guys?
Alice: Well there may be one guy...
You: Oh my god! Spill! Who!?
Alice: Will you chill out? It's Blaise. He asked me out like a month ago, but we never actually went out on a date 'till Saturday. I was going to tell you but I got so wrapped up in your drama.
You: Well, Blaise is a catch.
Alice: Bloody hell, I know! I'd ride that bitch all night.

You both die of laughter as first years stare at you.

You: Turn around, stop eavesdropping, and pay attention.

They turn around quickly and Alice stares at you.

Alice: And you wonder why you're a Slytherin. Crikey, you and D are perfect.

You roll your eyes and turn toward the field as the players begin to fly around. You spot Draco as he flies around warming up. He notices you and winks at you. They get into position and the game begins. You only keep your eyes on Draco and Cedric ignoring the rest of the game.

Alice: I'm surprised Cedric is playing. He was really blacked out.
You: Yeah, I wonder what that was about, it's so not him.

Draco flies around on Cedric's tail and knocks into him causing Cedric to bump into the Hufflepuff tower. Draco hovers over him and waits for him to fly up.

Alice: What are they saying?
You: I don't know, I'm going to try and hear them.

You cast a spell to try and hear what they are saying. You immediately hear Draco's laugh.

Cedric: What is your problem.
Draco: Putting hands on a woman. Not fucking cool, Diggory.
Cedric: Why the hell do you care about Anastasia?
Draco: Oh, I don't give a fuck about who it was, but what I do care about is some asshole being abusive towards anyone, especially a woman.
Cedric: Says the person who is verbally abusive.
Draco: That may be true, but I would never put my hands on a woman. No matter how angry, upset or drunk I am.

Cedric flies off and Draco chases after him. While Draco is chasing Cedric you hear the golden snitch speed by you as it flies away. Draco must notice it because he turns around and flies after it. Cedric follows trying to catch up. They are both next to each other as they draw closer towards the snitch. Draco bumps into Cedric hard causing him to fall off his broom. Thankfully, they are close to the ground so it wasn't a hard fall. You look away from Cedric and watch Draco attempt to catch the golden snitch. He dives forward and snatches it in his hands. The whole Slytherin tower jumps up and cheers. You look down at Cedric and you see him kick the sand in frustration.
