You slowly walk forward before you take off in a run to be in his arms. He wraps his arms around you and spins you around before he sets you back down and pulls away to look at you.
You: Hi darling.
He smiles big, showing his dimples.
Draco: Say that again.
You giggle.
You: Hello, my darling Draco.
He sighs of relief and leans forward, placing his lips to your forehead. He pulls back and looks into your eyes as his well up with tears.
Draco: I thought for a minute, I was never going to see you again.
You: Me too.
You sigh as your eyes begin to well up. Draco wipes away the tears and embraces you.
Draco: Its all over now, baby. We've got a future to look forward, too.
He pulls back to examine your face.
You: Our future?
Draco: If you want.
You smile and nod. Draco smiles back at you, his breath becoming shaky.
"Why is he nervous? Is there something else? What happened?"
Draco sighs before he stands back a little and puts his hands in his pockets.
Draco: We've been through hell. Sometimes I put us there, sometimes you did, too. But, somehow we're still here, by each other's sides.
You smile and nod.
Draco: We've had our ups and downs. Our fights...and amazing sex...
He smirks causing you to laugh.
Draco: However, if I have learned one thing through these past months, it's that I can't live without you. I don't want to live without you.
He places his hand on his heart and takes in a shaky breath. He steps forward and takes your hands into his.
Draco: And with your fathers permission...
He slowly gets down on one knee and reaches into his pocket to pull out a black box. You gasp as the happy tears begin to form in your eyes. Draco opens the box and there sits a simple diamond ring on a silver band. It's not too big, but not too small. It's just right. Draco looks at the ring, smiles, and looks up at you.
Draco: Anastasia May Potter, I can't live this life without you by my side. I promise to love you every moment until I take my last breath on this Earth. Would you do the extraordinary honor on taking the next step towards our future, becoming my partner forever? Will you marry me?
You look into his eyes before you drop them to the diamond ring.
You: Are you serious?
He laughs and nods, a big smile on his face. You smile as the tears fall down your cheeks.
You: Draco Malfoy, I would love to marry you.
Draco sighs of relief before he smiles and quickly stands, taking you in his arms and twirling you around. He sets you down and takes the ring out of the box. He places the box back into his pocket before he takes your hand and slips the diamond ring on your finger. He smiles and strokes your hand with his thumb.
Draco: Perfect.
He looks at you before he takes your face gingerly into his hands and places his lips to yours. He pulls back and rests his forehead on yours.
Draco: It's you and me forever, baby.
You smile.
You: I love you, Malfoy.
Draco: I love you more, Ms. Malfoy.
