Draco:
I slowly walk up to Alice and Harry, where they stand near the entrance of The Leaky Cauldron.
Draco: Do you know where she went?
Alice nods.
Draco: Where?
Alice: You're not getting it that easily.
Draco: Alice! Don't play fucking games.
Alice: Where do you think she went?
Is she for real?
Draco: How the fuck am I supposed to know?
Alice: Where does she like to go when she's stressed? What does she love to do when it's night?
I sigh.
A fucking riddle. Well when it was nighttime we liked to fuck? Even when she was stressed.
Alice doesn't say anything and looks up at the sky. I look up with her to see millions of stars and that's when it hits me.
I know where she is.
I look at Alice and smile at her before I apparate to Ana. As I land on my feet in the middle of the street, facing her house, I see her silhouette sitting on the roof, looking at the stars. As I start to walk towards the entrance of her house, my arm begins to itch.
No, not now.
I pull up my sleeve to see that my mark is slowly reappearing on my arm. I pull my wand from my pocket and hold it to my arm. I mumble the spell and watch as the mark disappears again. I sigh as the itching pain disappears too. I look back up to the roof to see her silhouette still sitting there. I walk to the front door and open it, turning the cool handle to let me in. As I walk in the house, it feels, empty. I know that they haven't moved out but, they haven't lived here for weeks.
I hate the empty feeling.
I slowly move my feet to the staircase that will lead me to her room. The wooden stairs slightly creak under my feet as I make my way to the top. I look to my right to see the door to Harry's room. A quidditch broom hangs on his wall with the quidditch posters. I chuckle as I see a photo of Harry and Ana hanging on the wall next to his room. They look about seven with bright smiles on their faces. I watch as they both move to blow the candles out on their birthday cake.
They look happy.
I look to my left to see Ana's bedroom. I slowly make my way towards her room, all the family photos moving as I walk past them. I walk into her room to see its exactly like I pictured it to be. It's bright and open with many pictures hanging on the walls. Pictures of her and Harry. Pictures of her and Alice. As I look at all of them, one picture at her desk catches my eye. Ana is smiling as Cedric kisses her cheek. I feel my nostrils flare in anger as he kisses her cheek, making her smile. I turn and ignore it as I walk to the open window to get to the roof, noticing on the way that her heels are near her bed. As I look through the window, over the hedges, I notice mother and father in my bedroom. They seem to be fighting as my father throws his hands in the air and hovers over my mother. She stands her ground and looks dead in the eye, not flinching when he gets in her face.
She's strong.
Father drops his hands and walks out of my room, leaving my mother there. She sighs and sits down on my bed, looking down at her feet. I sigh as I climb through the window and onto the little porch. I stand and turn to see Ana on the roof, her dress blowing in the summer breeze. I pull myself up onto the roof and I slowly walk towards her. She doesn't move or look in my direction as I get closer to her. I sit down next to her and notice her cheeks are wet from tears. I don't say anything and look up at the stars with her. She sniffles and wipes her face before she turns to me.
