Ron: He's dead?

Harry stands and wipes his hands on his pants and nods. Hermione starts to sob as you stare at your Professor. You walk over and close his pained eyes.

"Sleep well."

You walk over to Hermione and Ron as Voldemort's voice pierces through the air.

Voldemort: My...isn't this fun. The battle.

He laughs, sending chills into the air.

Voldemort: Now. This message is for the Potters. I have stopped everyone who bows to me. They are all gone and your friends are all safe...for now. Come to me. Meet me in the forest. And we will handle this alone, and no one else has to die. If you refuse, I will murder every last person breathing on this earth. You have an hour to come to me...if not. I will start with your parents...

You gasp and cover your mouth as you feel the tears well up in your eyes.

Voldemort: I will make you listen to their screaming pleas, just begging to die. Begging for me to kill them. You have an hour.

His voice disappears and you turn to Harry, shaking your head.

"We have no choice now."

Walking back to the castle, there's no more giants, spiders or death eaters. The courtyard is quiet and no one is to be seen. You all walk into the castle and into the great hall. As you enter, you meet everyone's eyes as they watch you all walk into the room. Everyone is helping each clean up a wound or cover the dead bodies. As you make your way down the rows of people you see a pair of people you didn't expect to see. Lupin and Tonks. Lay hand in hand on blankets, there eyes closed. You feel tears well up again as you look around at all the dead people. Peacefully sleeping now. You turn and look at Harry as Molly walks up to you both, tears in her eyes. She hugs Harry and kisses your cheek, as if saying goodbye. You smile at her as Fred and George hug you and Harry close. You pull away and turn, meeting Alice's eyes. She smiles even though her makeup is running as tears stain her cheeks. You slowly walk up to her and embrace her in a deep hug.

Alice: I never thought it'd be like this.
You: I know.

She sobs and you look up to meet Blaise's eyes, as they also have tears running from them. Alice pulls away and smiles at you.

Alice: We were supposed to raise children together. You were supposed to be the responsible one and I was supposed to be the fun Aunt.

You laugh before you realize, you will never get to do those things.

Alice: We were supposed to be neighbors and grow old together...

You finally give up of holding back your emotions and let the tears fall.

Alice: I don't know what I'll do without you.

You cry and hold her hand.

You: Alice, you will live your life. You will marry Blaise, and have a family. You will have a good life, just as if I'm there. I will be there, looking after you, you just won't see me. And when you finally are ready to come to me. I'll have a pool and cocktails waiting.
Alice: With a bunch of shirtless men?

You both laugh through tears and nod.

You: I love you so much.

You hug her tightly, thanking her for everything and saying goodbye. She pulls away and wipes her eyes as you walk over to Blaise. You slowly reach out and take his hands in yours.

You: Keep her safe for me?

He nods, tears staining his cheeks.

You: And promise me to keep her happy. Marry her. Have a family. Give her a life she deserves.
Blaise: You can count in it.
You: And make sure he has a good one, too.
