The constantly ear-splitting alarm had no mercy with Seulgi as she got up. Usually she got imformed about test alarms, but nobody even mentioned it the last days. That could just mean: This was real.

Immediately she panicked. Everything the school tried to teach them in case of fire got lost in her head. What should she do now?!

"Seul, why the heck are they doing a test alarm at fricking 2am?!", Jennie yelled through the still ringing alarm.

"Nobody told me about it", she screamed back with wide eyes.

"This is real?!", Yeri blurted out and her yaw dropped to the floor.

They all stared at each other. And then she noticed it. Mina wasn't there.

"Fuck!", Seulgi swore.

"What?"

"Mina isn't here."

While Yeri totally started to freak out, Seulgi tried to calm down to get a clear mind. At first they had to leave the dorm. After that, they had to exit the building and should gather at the school yard.

But what should they do about Mina? She was probably walking around somewhere and got surprised by the fire.

Seulgi deeply in- and exhaled. At least one member of her dorm should stay calm.

"We leave the building. Now!" Both Yeri and Jennie followed her instructions.

There was still no fire as they walked down the hallway being surrounded by other students. The entire walk Seulgi was looking for her lost friend, but she could nowhere find the petite brunette in the crowd.

Her exasperation didn't vanished as they bumped into a familiar face.

"Have you seen Jisoo somewhere?", Lisa asked them hysterically with a concerned face.

"Mina isn't with us too", Jennie stated.

They left the building, still looking after the two girls.

But Seulgi's attention immediately left her mission as she noticed the northern tract. The bright flames looked even more intimidating in reality.

Half of the tract was burning. Even the second floor and the roof. Seulgi hold her breath while she just stared at spectacle. This was all real.

"Seulgi", a scared voice screamed and she turned around. Wendy appeared and took her into a long embrace. "Thanks god you are fine!", she continued and sighed.

"Are the others fine too?", Seulgi immediately interrogated her best friend. "We managed to get Jihyo outside with her injured leg, but Irene wasn't in our dorm as the alarm started."

Her heart stopped for a moment.

This couldn't be.

She remembered the scene of Chae, Irene and her tramping to the tumb. Irene had been so curious about discovering the northern tract. What if...?

She immediately started to run.

Where should this careless girl could be except of this spot?

She made her way through the mass of students and scanned the northern tract in her mind.

There was just one entrance.

And of course the broken windows.

She was pretty sure Irene was smart enough to avoid unwanted visitors and took the broken windows. But which one?

She totally blended out her friends screaming and shouting behind her to stop. She had to find Irene. No matter what.

A person appeared in front of her, letting her collide for the nth time this day.

She immediately sighed with a pleasant feeling of relief as she recognized her.

"Mina!" Seulgi hugged the girl tightly who tried to push her roommate away.

"Seulgi, could you please stop."

The others arrived too so Mina had to bear some more skinship. "Did you walked around again?", Chae inquired and put her hand on her shoulder.

"Obviously", Jihyo stated after she joined the group. "Have you seen Jisoo or Irene?"

Seulgi gasped as she realized that she totally forgot about Irene. She was probably still in the building without a chance to leave it.

Wendy obviously read her thoughts, because she grabbed her wrist and prevent her of running away.

"You go nowhere", the latter uttered with a hard and strict subtone. "Wendy! She could still be-".

The sound of sirens appeared as the fire department and the rescue squad entered the school gate.

"You can't say me what I-", Seulgi continued, but her friend interrupted her again. With all her strength, she removed her wrist from Wendy's grip.

"Look, no need to worry", Wendy stated and pointed at her back.

Seulgi immediately turned around and noticed two raven-haired girls approaching them.

"Sorry guys", Jisoo apologized. "But apparently nobody told us how to behave in cases like this."

"We found them near the boys dorms. They looked pretty helpless", Bang Chan said who was accompanying them. "Yeah, we are really thankful", Irene declared and they both bowed.

Still under shock and full of adrenalin, they removed to their dorms after the fire department extinguished the flames and the professors made sure no students were missing. This was definitly too much for Seulgi.

Her thoughts simply orbited around one thing.

Since that moment, not only Jisoo was suspicious for her. Because Irene and Mina haven't been with them too.

And she knew: The northern tract couldn't catch fire by itself.
