Chapter 39

"Yerim-ah put that damn mobile phone away!", Seulgi shouted while lying in her own bed.

"I told you: You aren't my mom", the girl yelled back and continued playing on her phone.

"KIM YERIM. YOU ARE ADDICTED"

"Babe, calm down-", Irene softly said and caressed Seulgi's exposed schoulder.

"Finally, unnie!", Yeri mumbled.

"You can hide it later", Irene finished her sentence in a silent voice and winked. Seulgi smiled with her eyes and pulled her girlfriend closer. But how hard she tried, the nervous feeling that was manipulating her mood right now appeared again. And of course Irene noticed it, like she noticed EVERY fricking detail about her.

"What's wrong? You don't seem to be relaxed."

"Huh? Why?", Seulgi replied and pretended to be okay although she exactly knew that it was senseless.

"You body is stiff." With a stitch to her side Irene tickled her.

"Yah stop that! Okay, I'm nervous", she confessed and deeply breathed out.

"Don't tell me that you fear this damn soccer match tomorrow, do you?" Seulgi squinted her eyes in response and felt Irene immediately removing. Everything that stayed was the warm spot at her left body side.

"You don't have to be nervous. You are one of their best players!"

"Objection!", Yeri joined the conversation.

"Shut up Yeri. And you Kang Seulgi, stop thinking about that. You play against the Rutherford University,right?" Seulgi nodded. "Jeongyeon said that they can't even decide between a foul and offside."

"How can you be so confident?" Seulgi scratched her neck and looked at Irene in the most innocent way.

"I just can. And you should better trust your girlfriend." She then smirked and kissed Seulgi.

Normally, this would have ended in a heated make-out session. But Yeri was there too, so Seulgi had to slowly push Irene away so they wouldn't get too far.

"Sometimes she is really annoying. Even Mina started to leave the room more often."

"Don't think that I haven't heard that, Bae Joohyun!", Yeri commented out of her corner and glared at them. They both just chuckled.

"Yeah, I think that's because of the library club. Wendy arranged some free food for the members...", Seulgi continued.

Irene just shrugged and positioned herself back so she could hug Seulgi's side. For a short moment, she just enjoyed her girlfriend's present, smelling her unique scent.

But a loud noise coming from the door and a furious swear interrupted their nice little moment. The door smashed against Mina's bed. In the frame was Lisa with a red face.

"KIM YERIM, WHERE IS MY NECKLACE?!"

Both Irene and Seulgi's eyes switched to the said girl who put her phone immediately away.

"I don't have it. Why should I?", she calmy answered.

"Because you are the only one who mentioned it and said it looks nice. And i know your sneaky trait..." Lisa aprroached her and narrowed her eyes.

"Yeah it looked nice but I would never borrow something without asking."

"Objection", Seulgi immediately uttered and raised her hand. But nobody payed attention to her.

"You know that it was out of platinum. It was expensive as hell and a gift of my mom before I left her to study here."

"You can trust me, I don't have it. I don't even wear accesoires."

"Yeah I agree", Seulgi defended her dorm member. She rarely saw Yeri wearing earrings or necklaces.

"Okay fine. But then it disappeared."

"We help you finding it. I still have to ask Jisoo about the anniversary-cake-project." Irene stood up and grabbed Seulgi's wrist to accompany them. "Com'on Yeri, you help to. You really need social contacts..."

"Oh gosh your dorm is even messier than the corner of Seulgi...", Irene gasped and facepalmed herself. Yeah, Seulgi was a bit lazy in terms of tidying up her space. But at least she managed to get the laundry to the washroom. Otherwise she had to go naked. Not very comfortable...

"Actually we are pretty organized and structured...", Joy mentioned and appeared out of the bathroom. "But when our little Chae got her overexcited and creative phase she somehow acts like a hurricane." She glared at the blond-haired shorty who was sitting at the window.

"I'm sorry but when I got ideas for art I usually have to express my creativity..."

"Okay anyways we are here for your necklace", Yeri stated and started to put some shoes away.

"When have you worn it the last time?", Seulgi started to interrogate Lisa while Irene, Yeri and Joy put the room upside down. Jisoo wasn't there so she couldn't help them.

"Hm... yesterday afternoon. But before the soccer training I had to put off and took it into the case. And then I totally forgot about it until this morning. I wanted to wear it, but yeah, it wasn't there. I also have the case hear but it's empty..."

She left Seulgi alone and came back with a red case. It was empty.

"Look. And now I can't explain myself how it vanished from the face of earth." Lisa faced the floor and sighed exasperately.

"You don't have to feel bad Liz", Irene said and patted the girls bag. "We'll find it. And if it's under this pile of stuff, you will find to you in some days either way."

"Hm... okay."

After they almost searched one hour in Chae's dorm, they decided to go back to their own dorm since it was already 8pm. Jisoo had joined them after half an hour and looked for the necklace too, but they couldn't find it.

Seulgi was highly convinced that the item just got lost because of Chae's creativity/overexciting moments or that Lisa placed it somewhere and didn't thought about it.

Now she was in her bed and collecting her thoughts, trying to get rid of the nervousness for the soccer match. Irene told her to trust her, so she would do that. She couldn't need bad sleep before such an important day!

Library, 10am, break time

'Where is it, where is it', I mumbled to myself, walking along the row of books. She said it had to be here. But where was 'here'? 'Here' could basically mean everywhere in the library. Couldn't she just give me the book instead of making me search for half an hour? The classes are about to start in ten minutes...
