Chapter 65

They just looked at the spectacle. What the hell was going on? Mina and Chae stood there, holding one of the goblets in their hand.

She switched her gaze between Mina, Chae and Jisoo, obviously confused. What was even happening right now? For a moment, silence was in the air. Until Irene arrived too.

"Jisoo, stop!", she yelled as she turned around the corner. Then she stopped and eyed them, how they all were trying to understand the situation.

"Why the fuck are you holding the goblet in your hands, Son Chaeyoung?", Jihyo started, emphasizing the 'fuck'. In this moment, Mina took it and made a step back. Chae followed.

"Not your business, Park Jihyo", Mina stated.

"It is our business!", Seulgi joined the conversation. "So they are involved in Jisoo's evil plans too!"

"Which evil plans?", now Chae asked and observed Jisoo who was crossing her arms. "I have nothing to do with them. I don't even know what they are doing here...", Jisoo explained.

"And we should trust you?", Jihyo immediately blurted out.

"The question is: What are you doing with Jisoo here?", Chae asked now and smirked.

"We have nothing to do with her", Seulgi explained and grabbed Irene's hand to step back. Now Jisoo was standing alone in the middle, being surrounded by Jihyo from the back and Irene and Seulgi from the front. Mina and Chae had gathered in front of the glass cabinet.

"We neither!", Chae claimed.

"Why is she even here?", Irene silently asked to Seulgi and pointed her head to the small blond-haired girl. This was indeed a good question. Mina had a reason, but Chae?

"What the fuck have you to do with all that?", Seulgi directly asked the girl.

"Why are you just asking me?!", Chae tried to defend herself.

"Because Mina has something to do with Jisoo and Wendy. We saw her meeting up with one of them", Seulgi explained and got a supporting nod of Irene.

"You met up with her?" Chae was now the confused one.

"She hasn't only met her, they also entered the northern tract", they continued to confrontate Mina.

"Wait what?", Mina now frowned. Jisoo also looked at them a bit confused.

"You have been there again?", Chae whispered to Mina, although everybody could hear it.

"No I haven't!", the latter replied.

"What the fuck is going on here?!", Irene now spoke out, saying the thing everybody had on their minds.

"Apparently nobody knows what the other had done...", Jisoo hissed and rolled her eyes.

They all stared to the ground. It gave Seulgi an uneasy feeling. So many questions popped up in her head. Why did Wendy help Jisoo? Why have they stolen things? Why are Mina and Chae holding a goblet in front of their eyes? Are they connected to them? Is Jihyo somehow involved? Could she even trust them?

Her head seemed to be exploding any minute. She needed the answers. And propably the others too.

"Can we maybe just end this 'I blame who I want cuz my assumption is right' session. This won't help us. We have to talk anyways."

"I won't spill the tea", Jisoo protested.

Seulgi felt her hand loosing the grip on Irene's. Her girlfriend removed from her and stepped to Jisoo, a few inches seperated their bodies. Her eyes glowed like fire.

"You will, Kim Jisoo."

Up to this point, Jisoo was intimidated. Seulgi had never seen her girlfriend like that, but the anger that boiled up in Irene's eyes was more than just scary. Her sister had maybe also seen this since she lowered her face and sighed. Hopefully this wasn't fake anymore.

Mina and Chae followed without protest. Irene instructed Jisoo to show them the jewelry; to the other's surprise since they not even considered Jisoo as a possible thief.

She led them to the chemistry labs which were located a bit seperated from the other corridors, to be precise exactly at the end of the southern tract in a side-hallway. Nobody even considered students there in the eve.

"What have you done to Wendy!" Jihyo slammed her palms on the white desk that was placed in the middle of the huge room. Jisoo flinched. Then she fidgeted with her fingers.

Seulgi huffed in annoyance. She would have prefered to slap the girl, but she knew that would have been no option. She wasn't like Jihyo.

"Pick up the stolen things", Irene instructed. Meanwhile, Chae and Mina took a seat a few meters away from them, still holding a safe distance. Jisoo sat on the chair in front of the white table, Jihyo behind it. Seulgi was observing the spectacle from the side.

Since Jisoo wasn't reacting, Irene lowered her body to stare into these dark brown eyes which resembled her's. "NOW!"

That was the time where Jisoo got up and approached one of the round group tables. She took a screwdriver out of a box near her and started to loosen up the screws of the desk plate. Seulgi observed every little movement of Jisoo so she wouldn't miss a detail.

After an eternity, the raven-haired finished and lifted the white plate. She glanced back to them. "Take it out", Irene said with a strict voice. Jisoo obeyed.

At first, they just saw a box. Black with blue lines. Jisoo quickly undid the cord and opened the case. But as if she had already expected it, nobody could see shiny jewelry in it. It was quiet the opposite.

"What is that?", Chae asked in a disgusted way and raised one eyebrow.

"The jewelry."

"That's looks like a steering wheel. But not like necklaces..." Chae hopped off her seat.

"I warn you. Take the jewelry or otherwise I won't refuse to-", Irene gradually raised her voice.

"And I can't do more than telling the truth", Jisoo said and threw her hands in the air. "That's the jewelry..."

Irene grabbed the 'steering wheel' and inspected it with a disbelieving expression. Seulgi joined her and took it, almost dropping it because of the heavy weight.

"How can this be jewelry?", Seulgi asked.

"It's melted."

"Please what?" Irene stared at her.

"We have melted it", Jisoo repeated and shrugged.

"YOU HAVE FRICKING MELTED ALL THE EXPENSIVE STUFF?", Irene now yelled.

"AND YOU FORCED WENDY TO HELP YOU?", Jihyo added and placed her hand on her chest.

"First yes, second no. I haven't forced her." Jihyo bitterly chuckled after Jisoo's statement. Then Jisoo sighed. "Okay guys I'll explain everything to you. Neither Wendy nor I are as evil and selfish as we maybe seem to be."
