Chapter 37

As fast as she could, Seulgi sprinted through the empty corridors to Wendy's dorm. The sound of rain filled the hallway and a thunder appeared. After she had arrived, she gave herself a moment to catch her breath. She was about to grab the doorhandle but hesistated.

'No Seulgi. Think about what Mina said. You want her, so get her. This is your chance now!'

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. And opened the door.

Seulgi was prepared for everything, but definitely not for the silent sobbing that filled the room. It was dark and sticky, just the thin ray of light out of the corridor lighened up the room. She closed the door and turned on the pluglight above Wendy's bed.

Her heart broke as she saw her. Lying on her bed, the face hiding in the cushion, Irene was crying. As Seulgi approached her, she turned around to see who's there but quickly hit herself as she recognized Seulgi.

She didn't know what she was doing, but Seulgi got guided by her body. She placed herself on the bed.

"What- are you doing here?", Irene sniffed, still not facing her.

"I- I-", Seulgi stuttered. "I think we have to talk", she ended, saying Mina's encouraging sentence again in her mind.

"About what should we talk? ", Irene said into her pillow, her whole body trembling.

"About us."

"Seulgi... Please just go now."

It broke her heart again to hear this plead coming from Irene. She didn't move.

"Irene, look at me."

She was surprised by her own courage. The latter sat up straight but refused to put her eyes on Seulgi.

"Joohyun." Seulgi put her hand on Irene's cheek and softly lead the girl's head to her direction so they could see each other's eyes.

"Joohyun...", she whispered again, now with eye contact.

"Why haven't you told me that you love Jungkook!?", Irene exhaled. A single tear ran down her cheeks. Seulgi wiped it away with her thumb.

"Because I don't love him. I have never loved him and will never do." Irene sighed.

"How can you be so sure", she asked.

Seulgi took a deep breath. "Because I love you."

Nothing except of the sound of rain filled the room. Irene was staring at her with wide eyes.

"I was confused, overtaxed and stressed. I usually don't talk about my feelings. I wasn't sure what I felt. But I found myself. Yeah, I love everything about you. Your laugh, you personality, you eyes, your-"

She was cut of by a pair of lips which landed on hers. Irene cupped both of her cheecks and pressed her lips against Seulgi's. She was shocked by the sudden action of the girl but started to move her lips too.

"I love you too. So much", Irene whispered and looked into her eyes. Seulgi smiled. She pulled her closer by the neck and connected their lips again, slowly squeezing each others lips.

Seulgi felt it all. It was one of the purest and fullest moments in her life. She didn't want it to end. She could smell this seducing scent and taste Irene's sweet lipstick forever.

She placed her hands on the other girls waist and lifted the petite body on her lap, not breaking the kiss.

"Seul", Irene breathed out and pressed their foreheads together.

"Hmm.", Seulgi just hummed.

"Are we a couple now?"

"I guess so", Seulgi softly chuckled and smiled. "Only if you wanna be my girlfriend..."

"You dumbass, of course!" Irene playfully hit Seulgi's arm and involved her into another kiss. It was the best thing she has ever experienced.

They have never returned to the party this eve. Both where too busy with the other one. Their girlfriend.

Oh yes. Seulgi definitely liked that.
