Seulgi took a step out out of the beton hall to get a better look at the next room.

"What has happened here?", Wendy almost whispered.

With a big step, Seulgi tried to avoid much of  the ash, but totally failed. She started to cough.

"Ash... Why is so much ask on the floor? And the wood. It seems to break every second..."

She tilted her head and looked up to the ceiling, being approximately ten meters apart from her. Out of long wooden beams. Somehow she was scared and fascinated at the same time.

"Look, there's a plate out of stone", Chae uttered behind her. Seulgi turned around and stumbled to the others (and this wasn't so easy as everybody thought, especially due to many broken beams on the floor).

"You failed...", she read out

"What the heck does that mean?", Irene asked and looked up.

"Somebody failed something. Apparently", Mina answered.

"You mean like... loosing a game?"

Mina nodded and took the plate which had originally hung at the wall. "At least hasn't the person who had passed this noticed the plate."

"Which person?", the other four spoke out in unison.

"Here are some barely recognizable footprints."

And Mina was right: A person had crossed this hall, but went straight from the 'chesshall' to the exit of the 'wooden-hall'.

"But that doesn't help us. It could be possible that it was Jisoo, and we know that she was here, so that's not a help..." Wendy exactly expressed Seulgi's thoughts.

"But at least we know that this plate isn't connected with Jisoo. Somehow it has-"

"Wait guys, I have a brain-storm!", Chae screamed and jumped, creating another big and dusty cloud of ash. She excitedly giggled.

"So, we found that hoodie. It could have been Jisoo's, but that's pretty improbable. I believe it's Ryujin's or Tzuyu's."

"What has this to do with-"

"Don't interrupt me Son Seungwan!", Chae scolded.

"Anyways, they disappeared a while ago. With Minho. My theorie: They somehow got in here, played this stupid chess game and went here. We know that this complex has to contain more 'games' or whatever. So as they were here, they lost this game. And maybe a fire roasted them all."

Chae looked proud at them with her big cat eyes. A sudden gasp escaped Seulgi's mouth. Now she got an idea.

"So imagine not all, but just one died here", she started. "Minho's description was 'dead'. I believe that they got into the complex and played the chess game or have done something else. A few days later they got in here and played again. But this time they lost, that's why we have the 'you failed' plate. The punishment was a fire, or at least something similar. And Mihno died because of this."

They all nodded. But all good things come in threes.

It wasn't over yet. Now Irene got involved in the conversation.

"And this fire was exactly here. Under the northern tract. A few days after their were missing. Strange that a fire in the northern tract appeared during the night without any students outside. And funny that Mihno's tumb is right next to his place of dead..."

A satisfying and pleasant feeling spread in Seulgi's body. She loved it when everything fitted to well together. It had to be like this. If not, then somebody really tricked them really well.

"At least we know now how a lost game could end..." Mina raised her eyebrows and dropped the plate to the ground.

"Yeah my motivation is on the highest level", Wendy stated with the same expression.

"Remember we are here to find Jisoo, not to risk our life" Seulgi took a short glance to Irene; fortunately she was busy drawing weird shapes with her foot in the ash.

"I think we should celebrate Irene's chess success", Chae smiled, completely changing the topic.

"You can really think about celebrating after you got to know HOW this student died?", Wendy said with her 'what-the-fuck' facial expression.

"Exactly. Some pringles?" Wendy just rolled her eyes but then accepted the offer.

So yeah, basically they were standing in a dangerous complex under their school, surrounded by ash and broken beams in a hall and ate pringels. Something for a bucket list, definetely. Not for Seulgi's, but maybe for Chae's.

They decided to take a short nap since it had to be already 3 or 4am in the morning. And they were exhausted.

Unfortunately they ALL fell asleep, so basically they slept on the dusty floor for like seven hours. Nice, isn't it. Especially for their clothes which were covered in ash.

"I also have gummy bears",Chae said as they decided to eat breakfast (with candy...) and was about to grab it, but a sudden noise interrupted her.

"Did you heard that too?", she asked. Except of Seulgi, nobody nodded.

"That came out of the hallway there..."

All gazes dropped to the column which was a few meters apart from them. With the upcoming silence, the dark and scary tension appeared again.

"Let's take a look."

"Definitely not!", Seulgi refused and walked completely into the other direction.

"Hey wimp, I thought our brave Irene wanted to protect you. Still interested in her offer?" At Chae's comment she turned around and saw her wink. She rapidly fixed Irene- a blushing mess.

"Why am I such a sympathizer?  Could somebody tell me?", she groaned and rejoined the squad. "Because you trust us.", Wendy smiled.

Yeah, that was true. She trusted that girls more than she trusted herself. Weird, right?
