"So basically you just looked for the reason why this complex exsists and found some mysterious information about money and studies of teaching, right?", Jisoo tried to sum up everything Chae and Mina had told them. They nodded.

"At least up to that point. Because now it gets more interesting..."

"After reading a bit about the history of St. Priston, we realized that this school was famous for new ways of teaching", Mina continued. "Now we got back to the old methods, but back then, approximately in the early 30s, Arnold Priston tried to find new ways. And that's why he built the complex."

"What does the complex have to do with it?", Jihyo asked although she has never even been there.

"It's tricky", Chae interrupted Mina who was about to answer. "They used the complex for classrooms." Seulgi frowned and made a grimace. This was hilarious. How should students learn something in that ramshackle hut?!

Chae chuckled and spinned around with her cair. "I know it sounds strange. But like Mina said: new ways of teaching. The chess field is connected to dexterity. The ash room was some kind of geography quiz before. There are also others, but we haven't entered them as we got into the complex."

Now, slowly but surely, Seulgi started to understand the connection. It was still odd, but it was a plausible explanation for all of this. Her heart started to beat fast, sudden excitement spread in her body. "And this studies belong to the complex and the methods?", she blurted out.

"We thought that too", Mina raised her voice. "And there might be a connection. But here is the full story:"

Tomb behind northern tract; 12am

With her eyes, Mina inspected every detail of it. The soft curves of the gravestone, the letters that were hard to read and the emblem on the top.

"Still interesting."

I moved closer to her and started to take a closer look at it too. But it was a normal gravestone. Like the other times we both came here.

"Let's go back to the anniversary", I suggested. She shook her head.

"Not now."

"Come on. It has just begun. We can do some investigations later."

"You always say that", she replied.

tomb behind the northern tract; 12:30am

"The entrance has to be here!", Mina said, almost too loud. It sounded desperate.

"Calm down. We aren't playing against time." I mentally rolled my eyes. Why couldn't she listen once?

"We should enter the northern tract."

"Are you sure?", I asked, not convinced at all.

"No, but maybe there is the key. Literally meant or not, I don't mind." She stroked through her hair and sighed.

"The most parts are burned down anyways. What should surprise us?"

"We knew now the reason of the complex. But this studies where still too strange for us. Why were they that expensive and rare? Why would Arnold Priston hide them somewhere? And the biggest question was maybe: Why had the complex this mechanism to fricking burn people when they loose a game?" Chae walked through the room.

"So Mina had the idea that we should maybe search for that studies. Obviously they are hidden at St. Priston since it was Arnoldie's home."

"The northern tract", Mina mentioned and stared at them. "Why is it forbidden to enter? The emblem on the tomb? Somehow strange, right?" Seulgi narrowed her eyes. She had asked herself these questions too. But she never thought of getting an answer. She was too reasonable to enter this shit. But now Irene AND Mina and Chae did it. And they finally got an answer. Hopefully.
