"I don't have your fucking lip gloss", the voice of Yeri echoed in the room before she had even entered the dorm.
"Who should have it instead? Mina?" Seulgi entered the room and saw Jennie and Yeri standing in the room while facing each other.
"Why not. Maybe she covered her mysterious wound with it?" Yeri crossed her arms and glanced at Seulgi who was heading to her bed.
"Seul, have you seen my lip gloss?", Jennie now asked and glared at her
"No, why should I?"
"Look, she hasn't seen it too. Why are you always thinking that I steal your things?", Yeri yelled and narrowed her eyebrows.
Seulgi took out her phone and hopped onto her bed. She wasn't in the mood to listen to these two bickering around. It was already exhausting to live with them, but in the last time, it turned into an unendurable situation.
She often became angry too and joined the fight, Mina being the only one who remained silent. Even that was annoying. Sometimes, Jennie started to call Mina the problem although the girl hasn't done a thing. It wasn't the optimal mood in their dorm right now.
"Fine. Mina, have you taken it?", Jennie continued.
"No", Mina answered.
"See. She's innocent."
"What the hell. When I say no you are never trusting me!?" Yeri defended herself and clenched her fists.
"Because you aren't a trustworthy person, idiot!"
"Don't call me idiot!"
Luckily Seulgi found her headphones. Now she would at least hear music instead of this nerve-wrecking fights. She grabbed her phone and played some rock-music. That was loud enough.
'Are you bored too?', the sudden message popped up in the upper half of her screen. She immediately opened it and saw the chat with Irene.
'Am I that predictable?'
'Yes you are', her message came back within a minute.
'Yeri and Jennie are arguing again. Do you think I can ask for a wall to splitt the room?', Seulgi typed in and sent it.
'I don't know. Start a petition.'
'By the way, have you seen Mina's wound too?', Irene asked her.
'She is my dorm member...' Seulgi rolled her eyes.
'Right.'
'Do you have time for a short meeting later?', her girlfriend asked.
'Sure. In the library?', she answered. Sudden excitement built up in her chest.
But Irene didn't answered. Seulgi also sent a few stickers to spam her, but she didn't go online again. Damn. Then she could also do the tons of homework...
After half an hour, the tension between their dorm members were gone. Yeri was lying on her bed and read a comic, Jennie had apparently found her beloved lip stick. Mina was like always reading, this time One Hundred Years Of Solitude.
Seulgi herself finished her boring geography essay, dealing with climatic zones and the agriculture there. At least, she learned now that the ground of Russia was permanently frozen. And not very good for farming.
She shortly took a look out of the window, watching the sunset above the northern tract. It looked pretty nice, she had to admit. Seulgi rapidly took a photo and sent in into their group.
The only one who answered was Chae. Like always.
But gradually, Seulgi noticed that it wasn't normal that Irene wasn't replying to her messages. Either she was busy with her homework (probably like her) or she fought with Jihyo (that was also a possibility).
She shrugged and started with her english quiz, that turned out to be even more useless than the essay.
She got distracted by Mina who was suddenly standing up. Seulgi put her earphones out.
"Do you hear that too?", Mina asked.
"What?", Yeri asked, not looking up.
For a moment, it was silent. Seulgi carefully listened. There was indeed something.
"It's from the outside", she stated. Mina approached the window and opened it. Now, the sound was clear.
"That's a police sirene", Jennie clarified. They all gathered at the table now, looking outside.
Then Seulgi saw the amount of students, all standing in front of the building.
They immediately left the room.
The curiosity was too big. Why did they hear sirenes? Normally just a few officers walked around. Why did all the students gathered outside? It was already evening.
The journey felt like an eternity until they reached the main entrance. Apparently half of the school was here. Many people were hysterically talking, others just observed the spectacle.
She walked through the crowd and saw Joy.
"What is happening?", Seulgi screamed through the racket of sirenes and other yelling.
"They found them!", Joy shouted back.
"Who?"
"The thief!"
Seulgi's eyes widened. "A student?"
Joy shrugged. "Don't know."
Her heart was racing. She removed from Joy and made her way to the top row to have a better view at the police cars.
She stopped at the front row and looked around. There was nobody in handcuffs. She watched a police officer who exited the building, talking into a walki talki. Another man followed him.
The mass of students suddenly went wild. Seulgi tried to get a better look at the person who was dragged out of the building, but it was hard since she was too small.
Then her breath stopped.
This couldn't be.
This was impossible.
With handcuffs, the police officer dragged her to the cars.
The love, the trust they have built up through the year broke into thousand pieces.
With a last painful look, Wendy's eyes met hers.
