Chapter 24 Movie Night

There was a knock on the door, and Zak rushed to answer it.

Clay, George, and Nick walked in, carrying their stuff.

They were going to stay for the night, as Mega's basement was big enough to fit them all in.

They were also to have a movie night that evening, hopefully watching many movies.

"Come in, come in." Bad welcomed the guests, showing them the way and taking their bags.

Mega and Jacob came to help with the bags as well.

There was only one couch downstairs, so Clay and Nick carried the one from the first floor downstairs as well. 

Once they settled, we decided to order pizza.

Sapnap walked around taking everyone's orders, while Clay and Mega were trying to figure out how to turn on the tv.

When they turned it on, they had to decide which movie to play first.

"Joker?" George suggested.

"No! " Jacob replied.

"Maybe The Dark Knight Rises?" Clay put forward.

"How about Edge of Tomorrow? "Zak asked.

Mega nodded in agreeance.

"But it's scary! And has lots of blood..." Bad said.

"And swearing!" Zak laughed.

"Annabelle?" Clay offered.

Mega showed thumbs up.

"Uhh..." Jacob looked uncomfortable, "Maybe not a thriller?"

"Or are you scared?" Clay smirked.

Mega grinned, looking away from Jacob, who came downstairs with soft drinks. 

After many arguments and various responses, everyone decided on 'Passengers'.

Zak and Bad sat on one couch, Mega and Jacob on the other, while George and Nick were comfortable on the floor with some pillows, and Clay sitting in a chair on his own.

The pizza was yet to come, as there were quite a few orders, so it wasn't going to arrive too soon.

Zak made a big bowl of popcorn and was now loudly eating it.

"Can't you be quieter?" Bad seemed annoyed.

Instead of an answer, Zak chewed it even louder.

"Oh my goodness." Bad sighed.

Everyone was stuffing themselves with popcorn, eagerly watching the movie. 

They were about 40 minutes into the movie when the pizza arrived.

And as everyone was pretty hungry, it was gone pretty fast.

Mega looked so happy, I haven't seen him like that in a long time.

Just smiling and relaxed. 

I was glad he was enjoying the company and the movie.

But I also noticed Bad and Zak acting weird... I mean, I caught them holding hands once...

I pushed it out of my mind, concentrating on the movie.

I felt that Mega really wanted to be closer, but there were other people in the room, and I wasn't ready for that conversation with them yet.
