"Cleo", Eve said as she sat down next to her friend at the Gryffindor table. "Are you free today at like four?"
"Mhm", Cleo said. "Why?"
"Let's study at the library", Eve smiled. "I need to get more advanced for Potions class".
"Alright", Cleo smiled. "Where shall we meet?"
"We can meet up after class and walk there", Eve smiled. "It'll be fun".
"Surely".
Eve noticed Judas walking over, his eyes moving to Eve. His walk quickened as he paced over to her area, Eve turning to Cleo.
"See you later", Eve said quickly as she stood up, walking over to sit across from Tom. He looked up from his plate, smiling.
"I knew you'd come to me", he said. "I've missed you".
"You literally walked me here", Eve spoke. "So what do you want to tell me?"
Tom inhaled sharply, his eyes moving vastly towards her. He wasn't too sure if he was ready to tell her, but he knew hiding it from her would be too bad.
"Follow me", he muttered as he stood up, Eve following him out. She watched as he grabbed her hand, swiftly moving towards the dungeons. He held her hand tightly, making sure he wouldn't lose her.
"Where are we going?" Eve asked as she looked up at Tom. He dragged her down towards the Slytherin common room, a few students exiting as they watched Tom and Eve enter. They walked towards the boys' dormitories, their footsteps getting closer towards Tom's dorm.
"Here", Tom muttered, yanking Eve into his room. She sat on his bed as he locked the door, kneeling down by his desk to pull something out. Her eyes watched him as he pulled out the book she knew too familiarly.
"Secrets of the Darkest Art", Eve whispered as Tom flipped through it, stopping at a page.
"Horcrux", he muttered. "Do you know what that is?"
"Of course I do", Eve said. "We've talked about this last year".
Tom stared at her, a bit shocked at how good her memory had come to be. Such an observant girl.
"What else do you know about them?" he asked as he sat next to her, lifting up her chin with his index finger. "Tell me".
"You've already made one", Eve breathed. "I know this stuff already love".
Tom smiled as he heard her say this. He brought his lips to her's, pressing a kiss against her soft lips. She smiled under his lips, pulling away.
"We're not over", he whispered. "You're too important to me".
"I know", Eve smiled. "Is this what you wanted to talk about?"
"I have missed you however there is one more thing I would like to talk about". Tom looked her into her eyes, holding her hand that wore his ring. "The ring I gave you to protect is just one of my Horcruxes".
"You've made many?" Eve asked, her eyebrows rising a bit. "How many?"
Tom bit his lip, looking into her eyes. "I've created two. So far".
Eve nodded, not feeling any different about the situation. "And?"
"Well this ring darling, is in fact a Horcrux", Tom said, his eyes still connected with her's. "And I gave it to you as a way to protect it because I trust you".
He watched her lips curl into a smile as he said this, her eyes glistening with bliss. "I'm glad you told me this, Tom".
"Me too", he whispered. "Shall we get back to breakfast?"
