Classes had ended for the day and Eve had been relaxing with Rhea in the common room.

"When do you think we'll see Cleo again?" asked Eve.

"Well I know that the Slytherin common room tends to have parties on the weekend because of the location", Rhea answered, sipping on tea.

Eve was laying on one of the couches, her eyes wandering around the common room. It mainly consisted of green and black but it was such a lovely place to be housed in.

That's when she noticed the smell of cologne, cigarettes, firewood, and this time pine, fill up her nostrils. The buzzing that accompanied it didn't help either.

"Okay Riddle, so for Malfoy, I think it's funny how Noir rejected him", Fabian said.

Eve rolled her eyes. Gosh why are they so obsessed when there are literally other girls here.

"You know Rosier, there are more important things than girls", Riddle replied. That's when he noticed Eve, laying on the couch.

Tom's eyes scanned the sight in front of him. Eve was in a black satin slip dress, which Tom mentally noted how often she wore these. His eyes travelled up towards her chest, the necklace staring into his soul. He finally looked at her face, which had been gazing at him the whole time.

"Are you done fucking me with your eyes yet, Riddle?" Eve spat.

Tom snapped back into reality after he heard her talk.

"I wasn't eye-fucking you", he sneered, their eyes meeting again, the energy melting away. Tom then turned around and dragged Fabian out with him.

"Riddle must finally be interested in a girl", Rhea remarked.

"What?" asked Eve, sitting up.

"He really was eye-fucking you", Rhea responded. "Do you want to study with Cleo and I in like, a few minutes?"

"No, I think I'm gonna go take a nap", Eve said, standing up as she walked to her dorm.

"Sit down Lestrange", commanded Abraxas. It had been roughly two or three days since his last encounter with Eve. He just didn't know how to approach her.

Tom, on the other hand, had been observing Eve. He began to note how she raised her left eyebrow more often than her right and how she put her black hair into a ponytail in Potions class so it wouldn't be in the way.

"If you're still upset with Eve, don't be", began Emanuel. "She's been hanging out with Shanks".

"Cleo Shanks?" questioned Abraxas. Emanuel nodded.

"God damnit!" exclaimed Abraxas. "Now I'll never get a chance with her!".

Tom rolled his eyes but secretly he was rejoicing on the inside. He loved how she practically rejected every single boy. It was like she wasn't at all interested. She was playing hard to ge- no she was hard to get.

"Just relax", Atticus said. "Just because she's friends with a well-known heartbreaker, doesn't mean she is one".

"Nott's right", Robert said. "Give her some time".

"What if she really doesn't want to go out with you, Malfoy?" asked Jude.

"Does it hurt your ego that I turned you down", said a voice from the the girls' dormitories.

The boys looked up to see Eve. Tom noted how often she wore black and how good she looked in it.

Their eyes met again, the buzzing relaxing. Tom watched as she walked towards them, eye contact switching between each person.
