The sound of people bustling through King's Cross Station filled the girl's ears, her parents following behind her.

"Now Lunaire", Eve said worryingly. "Tie your shoes".

Tom smiled as he laid a hand on Maximus's shoulder, smiling at his son who had the same dark eyes like him.

"Good luck on your sixth year", Tom smiled. "Your older brothers are so proud that you've made it so far".

Maximus smiled back as his father, eyes moving to stare down at his youngest sister Lunaire, her hands tugging at the strings of her shoes as she tied them poorly.

"Now Veronique", Tom muttered. "Good luck on your fifth year".

The girl stared ahead, her stoic composure holding well. Her eyes narrowed at the voice of her father, lifting her head up a bit to observe the other people that that walked past her.

"Don't worry father", the girl spoke. "I'll try my best".

"I know you will", Tom muttered. "Just don't lose control of your anger".

Veronique snapped her head towards her father, eyes burning with intensity.

"I promise, nothing will go out of control".

Tom smiled at his daughter, patting her shoulder.

"Take care of Lunaire", Eve explained. "She's only starting her first year".

Maximus smiled, nodding curtly at his parents.

"We promise to care for her", Maximus assured.

Veronique stared at the children boarding the chain, their excited chattering brewing a stew of anxiety in her own mind. Her eyes began to wander around the platform, watching parents cry, saying their goodbyes to their children. She began to move forward, her eyes still wandering around, her hand grasping Lunaire's shoulder tightly.

"Ow Ver!" the young girl hissed. "That hurts!".

Veronique shot her sister a glare, moving closer to the train. Maximus already had his foot on the train, turning around to wave at his parents once more.

Eve watched as her three children walked closer towards the train, smiling as she watched Lunaire turn around, her smile engraving into the woman's mind. Her eyes moved towards the right, spotting the well-known Black Family, the children climbing onto the train as well.

However, she couldn't help but notice that their son Regulus had been staring at Veronique this whole time, her head turning to face Tom.

"I see it too", he muttered. He looked down at Eve, his hand snaking around her waist.

"What shall we do about it?" Eve asked, gulping thickly. She watched Tom's throat move up and down as he swallowed, his eyes glued to the family that seemed to not notice their presence.

"Nothing yet", Tom assured. "Nothing yet Eve".

Eve laid her head against her husband, holding onto his hand tightly.

"I hope Veronique stays away from that boy", Tom whispered sharply, his grip around his wife's waist tightening.
