The snow was falling gracefully outside, landing on the window to the game room.

Cordelia had just returned home from a Christmas Eve party, the house seemingly silent. She walked up the stairs, her eyes traveling around the hallways.

"Evie?" she said as she opened the door to her daughter's only to find the room empty. Cordelia furrowed her brows in confusion, walking over to Tom's door. As expected, he wasn't there either. She shrugged as she made her way to her room, closing the door behind her.

Eve awoke to Tom sitting on the chaise sofa, dressed up and turning a page. She rubbed her eyes and yanked the blanket closer to her body. Tom chuckled as he saw this, pulling the blanket a bit off of her. Eve groaned as she sat up, her bare breasts revealing to him as the blanket slid off of her.

"Oh Merlin", she whispered as she grabbed her black sweater, throwing it on. Her eyes searched the room, looking for her lace panties that Tom had removed from her the night before.

"Looking for these love?" Tom said as he held her black lace panties in his hand. She smirked as she reached over to him, grabbing them from his hands.

"You're obsessed with me", Eve teased as she put them on, smoothing her skirt to remove any creases.

I know I am, Tom thought to himself. That reminded him of a present he had for her and the holiday to accompany it.

"Darling", he began.

"Hm?"

"Merry Christmas, my little girl".

Eve turned around, laying a kiss on Tom's lips before she led him out of the game room, walking down the long hallway.

"Mum?" Eve shouted as she walked down towards the living room, where the tree stood. It had ornaments of silver, red, gold, white, green, and loads of presents underneath. Although some were meant for family, Eve picked up the gift she had purchased for Tom. She smiled as she held it out for him, his figure approaching her as he gently took it from her. He began to remove the wrapping paper delicately, revealing a small black box. Opening it, there laid a lovely silver ring with a dark green jewel embedded on it. Tom smiled as he put it, the ring perfectly fitting on his ring finger.

"Darling you didn't have to", Tom said before he cupped Eve's face, kissing her gently. She smiled at him.

"I saw it and it reminded me of you", she replied. She realized how good the ring looked on Tom.

"Plus I noticed that you wear a lot of rings".

"You're a marvelous and observant girl, Eve. I like that however, I do think it's time that I gave you your gifts".

Eve smiled as Tom handed her two boxes, shocking Eve a bit before she took them from him. She opened the bigger box, seeing a book.

"How did you know I wanted this?" Eve smiled as she pulled out the book.

"I overhead Rhea and you talking about how much you loved gothic literature so I thought that The Picture of Dorian Gray was a perfect choice for my little girl", Tom answered. He watched she flipped through the pages, her smile widening. She then proceeded to grab the smaller box, Tom's eyes shining with mischief. He knew what was in that box contained a sinister secret but someone had to protect it for him.

Eve opened the box, the energy suddenly jolting through her veins. She shivered a bit, the energy slowly pulsing through her. In the black box, there was a ring. Her eyes scanned the ring, as it was a very different one. The ring was golden with a smoky black gemstone inserted in it. As she put it on, the energy was practically penetrating her. She closed her eyes, trying to calm down the feeling.
