DOMINICK'S POV
Dr. Rougue is not as I imagined she would be. Her office is on the second-floor of the Children's Medical Institute located downtown and is only one of several spaces rented out in the building. Compared to the other spaces, I catch a glimpse at as Mollie and I walked past on our way, Dr. Rogue's office is like the living room of someone's house. The wall of the waiting room is painted sky-blue with white fluffy clouds to match. There are two leather couches, one pushed against each of the walls adjacent to the door. The wall opposite of the door is taken up by a large window, a small basket of dry-erase markers sit on the floor in front of the window.
Then, there is Dr. Ilsa Rogue, herself. The photo of her on the website has her with her hair pulled back in a tight bun and dressed in a white labcoat. In her photo, she wears a closed-mouth smile. However, in person, she is nearly unrecognizable. Her curly hair is worn down, slightly parted to the left, framing her round face. She has a big smile that shows her teeth and lights up her entire face. She wears glasses with big lenses and a thick black frame. Her white-labcoat is replaced with a solid-colored shirt and black dress pants. "Hello Miss. Mollie, I am so happy to see you today." She says in a cheery strong-accented voice. She squats down to Mollie's height when she greets her and then stands up to greet me. She holds out her hand, "Hello, Mr. Benji, I am Dr. Ilsa Rogue. I am very happy to meet you."
"Happy to meet you too." I reply shaking her hand.
"Follow me on in." She says leading me out of the waiting room into a short hallway with walls painted similarly to the waiting room. She pushes open the first door on the left, "Mr. Benji, if you would please wait in here, Mollie and I will be going into the playroom." She says.
I step into the room and identify it as the one Tyde described. The room is dimly lit and has a simple arrangement. There is a leather couch opposite of the large double mirror that is currently covered from the other side. I turn and lean down to address Mollie. "Be good, listen, and obey. I'll see you soon."
"Yes daddy." Mollie replies.
Dr. Rogue leads Mollie further down the hall and into the "playroom". I hear a door shut and then the cover over the mirror on the other side is pulled back. The playroom looks to be the size of a small classroom, boxes of toys are pushed against one wall. There is a small chalkboard and an paint easel against another wall. "What would you like to do while we talk?" Dr. Rogue asks Mollie.
"Draw?" Mollie asks.
"If that's what you want to do." Dr. Rogue says with a smile. "Let me get some paper and crayons." She walks over and opens a cabniet on the wall, she turns around with a small stack of printer-paper and a plastic bin of crayons.
Mollie and she sit at a short bean-shaped wooden table located closest to the window. Mollie sits in a blue plastic chair facing the mirror and Dr. Rogue is sitting on her knees on the ground next to her. Dr. Rogue places a piece of paper in front of Mollie and sets the bin of crayons between the two of them on the table.
"What will you draw?" Dr. Rogue asks.
"Please draw me a castle." Mollie says handing Dr. Rogue a purple crayon.
"What would you like the castle to look like?" Dr. Rogue asks.
"A princess one." Mollie says as she begins to scribble on the paper with a blue crayon.
"Do you want the whole castle to be purple?" Dr. Rogue asks.
"Yes." Mollie answers.
"Do you draw pictures when you're at home?" Dr. Rogue asks casually.
