Hello!
I have been working on/writing No Shame for a total of four years. Although, I only consider myself active for half of that amount of time. I took 2018 and 2019 off from the story; and at times, I doubted I would ever be able to come back.
However, every time I felt that it was time to quit, that I would never be a good enough writer, a new reader would appear. You all are always so kind and understanding, I am more grateful to you all than I can ever say. My confidence in my writing and this story are both still alive because of you all. I will never be able to thank you all enough. THANK YOU, ALL OF YOU, enough.

Time to Answer those Questions!
(WARNING: Spoilers for No Regrets & first half of No Shame)
Q: Why is Sawyer and/or Christopher such a butt/jerk/*other words*
A: Sawyer's jerkiness comes from both immaurity, jealousy, and hurt that he was not Katie's "first choice". He has feelings for Katie but he is unable to separate those feelings from the raging storm inside himself. He also is at war with himself over things yet to be revealed.Christopher's sudden cold/mean behavior toward Katie (spefically seen in Chapter 47) is primarily because of *to be revealed in second half*. This added to his (mis)understanding of the situation, which is that Katie is holding grudges against her family (for missing the banquet) and is throwing him out of her world because she can't handle what Sawyer did. All he knows, is that she has pushed him away (emotionally and now physically) without so much as a word of ecplaination.
Q: What is happening with Aria/Aria's behavior?
A: She has years of mental and emotional abuse to heal from, that span for almost her entire life. She still hasn't really begun to even work through the tramua from Noah's death and Nikki's suicide. Instead of facing her past, she throws herself into ensuring Mollie has everything Nikki and her never got, and more. To tease a little of the second half: Her circumstances may be different, but inside she is the same frightened, lonely, and hurting girl was in the first book.Q: Ella and Linkon?!?!
A: Indeed. I have been sitting on that secret for *quick mental math* a little over five years. There were many times I almost revealed the secret just for my own sanity (having to wait and try to drop subtle clues, drove me crazy at times) . However, I am happy I was able to wait and reveal it as I had intended. As you know Linkon is in love with Ella. In the second half, Ella's feelings will be revealed. I will tease that she has strong feelings for him, whether those be negative or positive? Still to be seen.
Q: Where can I buy a Linkon?
A: I think you have to put in a special order.Q: Can the Wilsons/Garret get hit by a bus?
A: The urge is very strong. The fanfiction is has been written. Unfortunately, we have not seen the last of them.Q: IS EVERYONE RELATED?
A: Really seems like it. However, I will give a quick breakdown. *takes a deep breath to prepare*Katie is the half-sister of Dominick (they share the same biological father, a man named Cason Aplin). They were both adopted by the Mr. and Mrs. Benji
Dominick has a three year old daughter, Mollie, from his high-schools sweetheart/first love, Nikki (who committed suicide). Nikki's younger sister, Aria, has custody of Mollie but allows Dominick to have her most of the time.
Dominick is dating Tyde, who is the step-sister of his best friend, Linkon.
Linkon fell in love with and had a son, Henry (who died as result of an accident), with Gabriella "Ella" Gribes.
Ella is the sister of Katie's ex-boyftiend, Sawyer, and also the cousin of Katie's best friend, Christopher.
Q: Can Linkon get his own book?
A: I don't know. I have worked on making a novella, but there's a lot of planning that would have to be done. My main focus is finishing this story.Q: What can be expected from the second half?
A: A lot. Stuff is about to get intense. Characters are going to be confronted with the dark parts of themselves and their respective pasts. There's going to be rock-bottom hitting, there's going to healing, there's going to be more emotion, there's going to be more reveals, and there is going to be a lot of changing relationships. There are scenes I am excited to share. There will be flashbacks (a lot more) and expositional-storytelling.
Q: Have you already written and/or planned the end?
A: It is planned. Not written. I like where I end it, I feel the ending is a satisfying conclusion. I hope you all will think the same."Behind the Screen Information"
#1 - A single chapter can take anywhere between 2-5 hours to write (total time, usually spread out over the course of days).
#2 - I like to make my stories be "bittersweet", because I feel it is more grounded in reality. Every happy ending is not made without something having to be lost, sacrificed, or endured.
Thank you EVERYONE, for your continued support. I look forward to writing and sharing with you all the second half of No Shame.
Coming soon!
