I apologize that this is not another chapter. This week was difficult and I was unable to complete the chapter. I am so sorry!
However, because I do want to keep this story active and keep as close to a consistent schedule as possible. Therefore, here is another Q&A for both myself and the characters. Please feel free to ask questions for either me or a character in the comments!
ASK BOOKNERDIAN: Techinical Questions
Q: Will you please read my story/give feedback on my story?
A: 100% YES! I am honored and love reading stories on here. I am not much of an editor, but I will do what I can. (Warning: I am very sensitive, so my feedback is often sickeningly sweet).
Q: What music do you listen to when writing?
A: Depends on multiple things. For example: My taste at the time, my mood, the scene, etc. Typically I do not listen to music when writing because I get distracted. I do listen to music before and after writing, to help me generate a mood or ideas. For No Regrets chapters 58-70, I listened to "Burn" from Hamilton a lot, I really was in love with the song and it helped me create emotionally intensity.
Q: Do you have any regrets about No Regrets?
A: I wish I had, like I am working to do with No Shame, give every character a little bit of their own story. I fear i made the other characters very one-dimensional so I am working, as I edit, to give more character to every character. I am working to create a smoother flowing story as well. At the end of the day, I am happy with the story I have told and immensely grateful to all those who have and continue to read/enjoy No Regrets.
Q: How long to you expect No Shame to be?
A: Let's see we're about 25 chapters in... *performing mental math* probably 70-80 chapters. There is a lot No Shame will deal with because I do plan for No Shame to be the closing to the Benji-Wilton-Gribes story; therefore, there is a lot to explore. There is also the mature content No Shame deals with and it is my responsibility as a writer to properly cover the subject matter in a respectful and realistic way.

Q: What is your favorite color?
A: Light sea-green. Mmhmm.. love it!
Q: What are you currently watching?
A: Been binging Person of Interest on Netflix, on Season 1 Episode 18. I am also watching the Korean drama It's Okay Not to Be Okay.
Q: If you were home on a rainy afternoon, what movie would you most want to watch?
A: Pride and Prejudice (2005), always a joy.
Q: Would you leave your hometown forever or stay in your hometown forever?
A: That is hard because there are things I love about my hometown but also reasons why I am glad to have left. I would say leave my hometown forever.
Q: Is there an app that you hate but use anyways?
A: Facebook, there is a lot I dislike about it, but I use it to stay in touch with friends and family who like it.
Q: What part of the human face is your favorite?
A: Eyes.

A:
Dominick - It has a small soft spot for me
Katie— You can be an active player in your own
Linkon - It exists, don't have much else to say.
Tyde - It doesn't discriminate
Aria - I have somehow pissed it off
Christopher - It's not so mystical force, you make the most out of the cards you are dealt
Sawyer - Like karma, it's how people make excuses
Q: How far would you go to protect those you love?
A:
Dominick - To the corner of the universe and beyond
Katie - As far as I can
Linkon - However far I have to
Tyde - Ends of the earth
Aria - For the ones remaining. Farther than I did previously
Christopher - There is not limit to how far I will go

Q: What makes you hopeful?
A:
Dominick - Mollie's smile
Katie - My family. Despite everything, we are together.
Linkon - Her existence. The way she looks at me.
Tyde - My family, my true family.
Aria - My niece
Christopher - Sunrises and sunsets
Sawyer - Just being alive, I guess
Fun Facts about No Regrets (Book 1):
#1 - Katie was originally going to only be a nickname for the character. The whole name would be Katherine Marie Benji; however, I decide to make Katie actually be the first name. Both in memory of someone who I knew long ago and because I know people who have "nicknames" for their name.
#2 - Linkon was originally going to end up with either Katie or Aria, but as I continued to write No Regrets, I wanted to keep him single.
#3 - Tyde was originally going to actually be related to be Sawyer's second older sister, Ella (and still be Linkon's step sister). Which would explain how Sawyer would be connected to the trial. However, when I wrote out the scene where it would be revealed, it did not feel right so I scrapped the idea. Therefore, I went with the blackmail explanation - which will be further explored later.
#4 - Nikki was originally going to have faked her death, but No Regrets progressed I scrapped the idea to maintain a sense of realism.
#5 - Ezibel was my play on the name Jezebel, a villainess in the Bible.
