Hello,
I feel very guilty that this is not another chapter. I have tried for the past two weeks to write/finish the next chapter. I really appreciate all the continued patience and constant support, it makes me emotional.
I know real life is always more important than updating, but I can't help but feel bad. Writing and reading have been an escape for me (and still are). I read in WebToon and I know how aggravating it can be to have to wait/be reading a series with inconsistent updates. For that, I am sorry.
I predict there are about 20-30 more chapters left to be written. I will see this story through and finish it. Both for myself, as a writer and person, and of course, for everyone who is reading the story.
Partially due to writer's block, majorly due to real-life responsibilities, and also my own feelings toward matters, it's difficult to write these later chapters.
An issue that arises often (with me having worked on this story for 4 years) is that I often take the story in directions I didn't originally plan, but want to pursue. The characters have slowly become and more detailed, little things that aren't going to be focused on but help me shape the character's interactions.
On a fun note, here's some stuff to look forward to/expect:
- Catching up to the prologue
- A closer look at Evan and Zeke's relationship
- Explanation to Christopher's behavior; as well as a bit more insight to the Gribes family dynamic.
