I stopped the car in front of a ginormous mansion. I frowned with confusion and checked the address again. We were definitely in the right place.

"Penguin said he thought this would be perfect for us. You think he was on something?" I asked Jerome. He chuckled.

"Why isn't it perfect?" He asked with a grin. I raised my eyebrows.

"We lived in trailers and prison cells. This is just weird to me."

"Well, get used to it, because that's exactly where you should be living, Gorgeous." He declared and abruptly pulled me on his lap.

I chuckled and pecked his cheek. He grinned widely and pressed his lips to mine. Suddenly the phone rang, so I pulled away.

"Goddammit." He groaned with irritation.

I giggled and picked up the call. He immediately buried his face in the crook of my neck and started kissing it. I pushed my fingers in his hair.

"Hello?" I spoke up.

"We got the engine." Tom declared happily on the other line.

"Great job, Tom. We got an address."

"Fantastic! Send it to me. We'll be there soon." I could practically hear his grin. I chuckled at his excitement.

Then I hung up, sent him the address and slipped the phone in my pocket. Jerome kept relentlessly pecking my skin. I grinned and patted his head.

"Hey, Handsome, disengage." I said with a smile.

"No." He grumbled. I giggled, gently pulled his head away and leaned to his ear.

"We have to check out the place and I gotta feeling there is a pool in there. Also, other interesting places where we could have fun." I purred and nibbled on his earlobe.

"Dear God." He growled lowly, immediately opened his door and jumped out, keeping me securely in his arms.

Jerome walked up to the wooden door with a small window and raised his elbow in order to break the glass like a true gentleman.

"Don't!" I stopped him before he had a chance to wreck it.

His eyebrows furrowed with confusion. I took a deep breath, grabbed a piece of steel wire from my pocket and paced towards him.

"If this is going to be our permanent home, I don't want to have a damn hole in the door." I declared, folded the wire and stuck it in the keyhole.

"This is technically the first place we got together." He said. I chuckled softly.

"You think our relationship will crack under the pressure of suddenly being with each other all the time?" I joked and kept wiggling the makeshift key.

He giggled. Suddenly I heard a click. I pulled the handle and the door opened. I grinned to myself and stepped inside. He followed and closed the door. I gaped at the vast luxurious foyer.

Straight ahead stood a small round dark oak table with a bowl of fruit on it. On either side of it, there was a flight of stairs. Right behind the table was a door leading to the backyard.

"Bloody hell." I muttered to myself. Jerome chuckled and dropped the duffle bag to the ground.

"You like it?" He asked curiously.

"I'm not sure. Do you?" I asked and looked up at him. He squinted and smiled awkwardly.

"Rich people's tastes, huh?" I grinned. He chuckled.
