"How pathetic." Oluo growled as you watched the same thing he watched from atop a building. All the rookies were struggling to fight against the titans. Many of them were being caught and swatted away by the hands of titans.
"They can't even kill three or four meter titans." You sighed, your chin resting on your crossed arms against the boarder of the roof. You rolled your eyes watching rookie after rookie being thrown in a titans mouth.
You huffed out air because of how bored you were. "Come on let's go in and save them!" Gunther shouted, getting Oluo all excited to join.
"We can't." Eld stated, in a sharp tone.
"And why is that?" You all turned to the voice behind you. You all placed your fists to your chest as Commander Erwin approached. "Captain Levi told us not to interfere in this battle sir." Petra said, now putting her arm down.
"And why would he say that?" He continued his path closer to all of you. "He said, It would be a waste of energy and that we should rest after our last expedition." You said turning back around seeing that more titans had appeared. Your eyes widened at the amount that suddenly appeared.
'What the hell? Where did they all come from?' You thought to yourself.
"Well... as you guys can see... the rookies aren't doing a great job, and neither is the Garrison affiliation." He took a few more steps in your direction. "This is a very important mission and it is important we see it through, so I believe the special operations squad and the most elite cadets should be there to help." He then looked down at you, "it would be very helpful if one of the most powerful members of the survey corps was participating." You looked back up at him, your face emotionless. "Hm," he moved back a bit, "you really did pick up his habits." You then frowned.
"But, commander?" He turned to Petra, "Captain Levi ordered us to-"
"Yes I heard you before Petra, but do you know who your captain takes orders from?" He smiled. "You." Eld said grinning. "Exactly, and I order you, as members of the survey corps to due your duty and kill every titan in your way, and protect those rookies." He pointed to three, what looked like teenagers, two boys, one a brunette and the other a blonde and a girl.
"Done." You said, now standing on the edge of the building your cloak blowing in the wind.
The other four took their place beside you looking down at the titans, only so few were 10 meters or taller. "Lets have fun with these ones." Eld commanded. You all yelled in agreement.
"Oh and also," you all froze before jumping off the building and turned to Oluo, "don't die, because if you do," he then jumped off the building shooting out his grapple hook in the direction of a group of titans, "I'll judge your guys' skills!" He laughed and shouted from the distance. You all laughed and followed after him.

Hi so this is the first chapter I know it's really short but it's to set up basically. I know it was probably a little boring but I promise it get's better!
But just wanted to mention this takes place during the end of the Battle of Trost District.
(So when Eren needed to carry the huge boulder to close up the hole in the wall).
