Chapter 29: 57th Expedition Beyond the Wall PT.2

Your heart began to beat faster as the ground under you all began to shake. You had to grab on to the tree to keep you balanced. You heard shouting in the distance and groans of pain. You faintly heard the sound of an acoustic shell go off.

What was happening?

You saw movement happen from under you, Hanjie getting everyone in position and double checking some things.

Your heart stopped when you saw the blonde female titan approach, she was at least a 14 meter, your eyes widened when you saw her chasing after Levi's squad and swatting away scout after scout that got in her way of reaching them.

What did she want with them? She was only chasing them down, something in that squad intrigued her... Was it Eren?

"(Y/n) are you ready?" Erwin asked and you nodded, even though you weren't.

As the squad rode past you all, the titan froze in front of Hanjie's traps and her eyes were locked on you and Erwin.

"FIRE!" He shouted and hundreds of hooks shot out, impaling her from every angle, making it impossible for her to move.

"It looks like she's stopped." You said softly to Erwin, your eyes locked on her.

Who could it be inside?

"We can't drop our guard yet." He said back to you and you watched as she struggled to get out of the trap, with scouts circling her from under.

You looked further to see Ava and Ekho being one to surround her.

'Not too close guys!' You wanted to shout at them.

"I'm impressed you managed to lead her to this spot." You looked up to Erwin, having absolutely no idea what he was talking about but you felt your nerves settle seeing Levi next to the both of you now.

You were so taken aback from the Female Titan that you didn't even notice him come up. Your mind wandered off as they continued to talk, and you couldn't help but notice the position she was stuck in.

Her hands were covering her nape and she looked like she was shaking, probably the person inside wetting themselves.

As you heard the sounds of blades being pulled out, you quickly turned to Levi. "Wait Levi!" you exclaimed, "Commander I think we need to be extra cautious." You admitted.

There was something off about this titan, she was more unpredictable than any other you've ever seen. You honestly couldn't tell if the hooks in her would be able to hold her back completely.

"I agree." The commander said, nodding to you. "Waves 2 and 3! Fire!" And more shot into her. "Use the reserves too!"

Finally you and Levi jumped down to her hands to slice them open to give yourselves that opening to slice open her nape.

Before you connected, you saw at the last second some form of a new layer of skin growing over them, it looked kind of like a layer of ice and both yours and Levi's blades were damaged completely.

As both of you shot up for the tree to show Erwin that your blades did nothing, you saw him gesture to you and you knew he wanted you to go talk to whoever is inside.

You shot for another tree and swung over to land on top of her head. You could slightly hear Levi questioning what you were doing but Erwin interfered. You heard commotion around you as people began to move under her.

"Hey. Just come out now, will you?" You said softly to her. "We don't have time for this." Knowing she couldn't talk back to you, your voice became more aggressive, almost sadistic. "Come on... girl to girl, what do you think's gonna happen to you now? Do you really think you'll get out of this?" You felt her shake more under you. "You caused us a lot of trouble. You killed many of our men in all sorts of sick ways." Your blood began to boil as you remembered her swatting and crushing those who helped Levi lead her here.
