Chapter 24: Flashback Continue

*Flashback Continued*

You sat in your bed taking your hair out of it's bun, letting it fall completely, you were about to go to sleep, but you thought of the slight chance Levi might come and knock on the door to talk to you, but more in private.

As the night went on, the more you realized he wasn't coming.

This was so confusing! He begged you to join and made it seem like if you joined he would be with you... or maybe... maybe this was his way of tricking you into joining.

Ugh! You groaned and threw yourself back on the bed. 'You stupid idiot (Y/n)!' you thought to yourself. And you closed the light and let yourself fall asleep.

The next day, same thing, Levi didn't even once look, acknowledged or speak to you, like you were invisible.

Then the same happened after the next, then the next and then the next and then it was the end of the week, and still not a single word was spoken to you from him. Instead you spent most of your time training, learning plans, learning formations and pushing Harrison off of you.

It was the weekend and everyone was able to relax for the next two days since nothing was scheduled until monday's expedition.

When heading back to your room, you felt Hanjie pull you back, "hey you always leave so early, come stay with us and have a drink." She smiled, still hanging on to you. "I promise I won't let Harry near you." You hesitated at first, wanting to go to your room in case Levi would show, but he hasn't once all week, so he most likely won't tonight either.

"Fine." You agreed and you were quickly pulled by Hanjie to the mess hall.

After three beers and everyone sharing their most embarrassing stories, you started to feel a little... funny.

"(Y/n) are you okay?" Kalum asked, his breath smelling strong of beer, it was making your stomach hurt.

"Yeah, I'm just- uh I'm... uh-"

"A light weight!" Harrison teased, and you laughed throwing a scrunched up napkin at him. He failed at catching it, making you all laugh, but he picked it up and threw it back at you.

You tried to move back, stupidly as you now began to fall off the bench, as you screamed your back went crashing into someone's arms and they lifted you up.

"Oh- haha... sor-" You froze as you looked up at who caught you.

"Watch where you're going brat." He said and pushed you up so you were sitting back on the bench.

Really?... Those were his first words to you?

"Asshole." And he turned to you... Oh shit, you totally thought you said that in your head.

"What did you say?" He now walked back towards you.

Well you already said something... and he clearly heard you, so you went to stand, but fell back on the bench and you attempted again, managing to stand, but with a little stumble.

"I said, 'Asshole'." Your whole squad went quiet. "Because you are one." You continued... Oh my god.. Why are you continuing?

"If I were you Cadet, I would choose my next words wisely." He warned, stepping closer to you.

"Oh yeah?" and you took a step forward, almost falling on your face, but you held yourself up, or you thought, turns out your hand was holding the table. You looked into his piercing eyes and you suddenly felt... tired? No... Sick? No... Weak? "I think I'm gonna faint." You said softly, seeing the darkness cloud your vision.
