Chapter 10: Young Levi & (Y/n)

~NARRATORS POV

*13 years ago* From flashback time

Levi walked behind Kenny and (Y/n), as they were walking hand in hand.

Kenny had to hold her hand most of the time because if not, the 5 year old would run off exploring, and it would take forever to find her.

Levi was always a little bothered how much Kenny would watch over (Y/n) so closely, treated her like she was his daughter, like his actual daughter. But when it came to Levi, yeah sure Kenny took him under his wing but (Y/n) got 'special' treatment.

Once they reached a small bar, Kenny asked them to walk around for a bit but to not go too far. As he walked in the bar (Y/n) already went off running.

"Hey, (Y/n)! Get back here!" Levi called as he chased after her. She sped up and Levi lost her in a crowd of people. He started pushing his way through trying to find her. He panicked as he couldn't spot her. "(Y/n)! He called out.

A woman approached him, and pulled him to the side away from the crowd. "Are you lost dear?" she said, softly.

"No, I lost my... uh..."

"Brother? Sister?"

"Neither, she's my-'' He paused as he spotted three men pull a small girl into an alleyway. He pushed past the lady and ran to them. He hid behind a garbage can as he heard a small girl cry out, he peeked from behind it and he could see it was (Y/n).

"Well look at this little one." One of the men said, stroking the back of her head.

"Oh she would grow up to be a fine looking one." Another approached her.

"Let me go!" (Y/n) yelled, kicking one in the shin. The man groaned and stumbled back a bit.

"Why you little shit." He growled and picked her up, slamming her up against a wall, "listen here, we're going to sell your ass to the highest bidder and after we get all of that money you're going to be used over and over again until you-" The man stopped and coughed out blood all on her face, causing her to gasp in shock.

His arms loosened and they both fell to the floor, (Y/n) looked up and in the back of the man's neck was a knife. She looked to see Levi was there, another knife in his hand and he went up against the two other men.

"What are you going to do little kid." One teased.

"I'm going to cut you limb by limb." He threatened.

As one charged at him, Levi moved quickly and kicked him in the knee causing him to fall forward. He shoved the knife in the man's stomach. The man gasped and coughed blood on Levi. He clenched his stomach and fell as he began to bleed out.

Levi turned his attention to the other man. He charged at him and ran up the side of a wall to land on the man and stabbed him in the shoulder. The man fell to the ground and yelled. Levi pulled the knife out and went to stab him one more time. He aimed for the neck but the man blocked him, by holding his arm up against Levi's.

(Y/n) only watched as Levi managed to loosen himself from the man's grip. He ran his knife through the man's heart. She was so focused on Levi that she didn't even notice the one he stabbed earlier in the stomach got up, a knife in hand.

Levi groaned as he was flipped over. As a knife grazed his throat.

"Your dead kid." He said now lifting the knife about to strike, his eyes widened and blood splattered from behind him. Levi moved out of the way as the man's body flopped to the floor.

(Y/n) fell on top of him, the knife buried his neck in her hand. She pulled it out and dropped it, and quickly stepped away from the body. She covered her mouth, muffling a small cry. She couldn't believe what she had done! She had killed a man...

Levi stood up and watched her start to pace, and whisper to herself. "What did I do?" Her hands were now pulling her hair.

"(Y/n)?" Levi approached her, but she continued to pace, while still talking to herself. "(Y/n)? Calm down." He tried to approach, but he paused seeing as she started to cry, she was losing it. She had never killed anyone before. Kenny had never introduced her on how to use a knife just yet.

As she continued, Levi couldn't stand seeing her practically losing it, so he grabbed the back of her neck and pulled her into his chest, wrapping his arms around her and he just held her.

He sat down, (Y/n) still in his arms and he stroked the back of her head. Her breathing steadied as she sunk into his chest and calmed down.

*Back to Flashback time*

Your eyes shot open when you finally realized what was happening. As he pulled away from your lips you only stared at him, your lips slightly parted from shock. You swallowed as you noticed him staring back at you, you felt yourself move forward and you sunk into his chest.

"Why... why did y-"

"You needed to calm down." He said in his monotone voice. "And that was the only way I could think of." You felt his arms wrap around your lower back and his chin now resting atop your head.

"You could have just hugged me like you did back when we were kids." You said, but your eyes shot open, regretting what you said.

Why did you say that? You liked that he kissed you, idiot!

"Yeah but," you felt his finger on your chin as he lifted it, "we're not kids anymore (Y/n)." Now looking in eachothers eyes you wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him down to you.

His lips came crashing into yours again, but this time it wasn't soft like the first one, instead it was more passionate, hungrier.?your lips moving in sync.

His tongue licked at the bottom of your lip, begging for entrance, when you opened your mouth you felt his tongue slip in, now dancing with yours. Your hands moved to behind his head and you gripped his hair.

His hand slid down and picked you up by your ass. He pushed you up against a wall and your legs wrapped around his waist. He finally broke away from your lips and moved down to your neck, a small moan escaped your mouth at the feeling of his lips kissing such a sensitive spot.

You gasped as he bit slightly at a spot on your neck, and your hands found its way back to his hair as he began to mark you.

You both froze as you heard a knock on the door. You looked at Levi and bit your lip as you tried to hold back a laugh, seeing Levi roll his eyes.

"I'm a little busy here." He said and moved back to your lips, assuming the person would go away.

"Captain Levi, it's commander Erwin," He now put you down and you let go of him. "I just wanted to check in if you got everything sorted out with (Y/n)?"

He fixed his hair and turned to you, "cover that up." He whispered, gesturing to your neck.

You pulled your shirt up more in attempts to cover it as he opened the door.

Erwin walked in and stared at you then to Levi. Your heart began to pound. Did he already know? Could he tell?

"Are you alright (Y/n)?" You nodded, excessively.

"Good, come with me, there's much we need to discuss." You nodded again and followed him. You turned to Levi before you walked out and he whispered.

"Meet me here after."

So I know the flashback scenes were probably super complicated to follow but I was trying to go for like when Levi pulled you by the neck she had a flash back from how he used to calm you down as kids.. haha (idk if I'm making sense.)
