Love, Lies and Levi (Levi x Reader)

Chapter 32

"So, it just came out naturally for you?" Mikasa asked, her eyes focused on you.

"Basically, but I knew for a long time that I was in love with him." And she turned away, looking back down to her tangling feet and smiled to herself.

"I was in love with him ever since I was a little girl." She admitted and gripped her red scarf, that she never parted with.

"Don't rush to tell him, you'll know when the time is right." You reassured her.

"You know," you both turned around, "I didn't show you this spot for you to invite others up here." Levi sighed walking towards you two.

"Calm down, she was up here before I came. Besides, you are supposed to be resting that leg." You pointed at his wrapped leg.

"I was just about to leave anyway." Mikasa now stood, "thank you Captain." She said to you and you nodded as a 'your welcome'. "Sorry about your leg." She said to Levi and hopped down.

Levi now walked towards you and sat on the edge with you. You leaned your head on his shoulder. "Don't do it." You said and kissed his shoulder.

"Do what?"

"Blame yourself." And he exhaled harshly.

"It's hard not to. They did what I ordered." He snaked his arm around your waist.

"They did their duty and they fought for us all, but remember what we always say, we can't predict what happens when it comes to titans. You couldn't have predicted what that female titan could do, please don't blame yourself." You kissed his cheek, and you leaned your head on his shoulder again.

"Thank you." He now leaned his on yours.

After an hour of you watching the stars in Levi's arms, you felt your eyes get heavy and you yawned. "Are you tired?" He asked.

"Mhm, can we go to bed now?" You pouted. He nodded and you stood up, and held your arm out so Levi could use you to get up.

"I don't need your help." You moved your arm and watched him struggle to stand and you rolled your eyes. He'll do anything to protect his pride.

As you stood on the other side of the wall ready to jump off you waited so Levi could be next to you. "Do you need help baby?" You mocked and put your hand out for him, and he just glared at you.

"Okay..." You put your arms up and laughed as you jumped down shooting at a wall so you could swing and ease into your landing.

As you landed you waited a bit for Levi.

"Shit." You heard him cough out and you watched him stumble as he landed, knocking something over.

You snickered at him, "I asked if you needed help." You began to walk away without him.

"Shut up." he murmured under his breath walking behind you, unable to keep up.

*The Next Morning*

You woke up to a knock on your door and you slowly made your way out of bed and went to open it and you found a letter on the floor. You picked it up closing the door and you opened it reading it as you walked back to the bed.

"Mm, (Y/n)?" You heard Levi hum in his pillow.

"Mhm?" You still haven't looked up from the paper.

"I hope no one was at the door."

"And why is that?" You finally looked up at him.

"You're not wearing pants." He said, his face still buried in the pillow.

Oops, you looked down at your bare legs.

"We have a meeting to go to. Erwin's calling for it." You said throwing the letter on the floor and lying back in bed taking his arm to wrap around you.

"When?" He breathed out and pulled you into him.

"Not until later this evening." You buried your face in his chest. "So we can sleep in." You smiled against it.

"Or..." His hand slid down your back and gripped your ass, "We could have a little fun." He whispered in your ear.

"No." You slapped his hand away. "You need to rest and you shouldn't move around much."

He groaned in annoyance against you, "how am I not supposed to touch you with you laying so close to me," his hand began to slide down your back again, "and you barely wearing anything."

"Here." you moved away from him and grabbed a pillow placing it in between you two. "Goodnight, I love you." You giggled as you rolled further from his reach.

"I hate you." You heard him mumble and you laughed.

But you both managed to catch up on some much needed sleep.

*At the Meeting*

You all sat around the table, waiting, you all showed up when Erwin asked you guys to, but he wasn't here.

"What's taking so long?" You sighed, lying your head down on your folded arms.

"Where the hell are Erwins men?" Levi finished what you wanted to say. "They must be having a hell of a hard time taking a shit." You chuckled at his comment.

"You're very talkative today, captain." You turned as Eren spoke.

"Are you stupid?" You frowned at Levi. Why does he do this? "I talk a lot." He took a sip of his tea. You looked down at his leg as he gripped it, it was probably irritating him again.

You reached your hand out and he took it and you grazed his hand with your thumb, trying to distract him from the pain.

"I'm sorry." you sat up straight as Eren looked at the both of you. "If only I had made the right decision... none of this would have happened and-"

"I told you. No one knows how things will turn out." Levi cut him off.

It was nice seeing Levi, trying to reassure Eren that none of this was his fault. Even if his tone said otherwise, but that was just how Levi was in these situations.

You let go of his hand as the door opened. "Sorry I'm late." Erwin said, as he walked it with a bunch of others, including Jean, Armin and Mikasa.

"Guy's!" Eren Perked up seeing them.

"We believe we've found out who the female Titan is." Erwin said. "And this time, we'll capture her."
