You took your place on the roof of a home, Hanjie, Jean and Armin landing next to you. Armin gripped your arm for balance as Eren now chased Annie around the city, crashing into building after building.
Moblit landed next to you and stood between you and Hanjie. "Commander! They're completely destroying the city, hundreds of lives are at risk!" He warned you, almost like he wanted you to go in and break up the fight yourself.
Ugh! As if, you'd be dead in seconds.
"Not my problem," you turned to him, "Erwin made his decision and told me not to worry about the city and the property damages-"
"But-"
"He doesn't want me worrying about any of that. All I'm told to do," you turned to spot the two titans playing tag, "is to get that bitch out of there." And you took off, getting closer to them and the four of them following you.
As you moved in between buildings, you couldn't help but watch over the city, seeing all the civilians run, screaming, terrified of what was happening around them. You could see blood under rubbles and hands and bodies crushed under.
You shut your eyes, not wanting to look at that, if you focused too much on that, you would abandon your post as commander of this plan and you would do anything you could to help all of those in need.
But it would be impossible.
Now landing on a building close to where they fought, you all just observed more of their movements, Eren fighting hard to keep up with her. "Looks like he is more in control." Hanjie stated.
"Yeah, but Eren still has yet to defeat the female titan." Armin chimed in, both you and Hanjie now turned to him, nervous about how this is going to play out.
"If he's transformed, I'm sure that means he's ready for the worst, he won't lose so eas-"
"Spirit alone can't win a fight" You cut Jean off. Sure as much as Eren might have some motivation to get Annie out, it's no question that Annie was much more skilled in combat.
"Surpassing Annie will require more." Armin added.
Two other scouts land next to you. "Commander, she's headed for level ground. We can't use ODM there!" One stated to you and other scouts now landed near you, waiting for your orders.
"Split into two teams and go around!" You expected them to go, but they hesitated as military police began to close in on you all.
"Oh, also the military police are apparently after us now." the scout informed you and you rolled your eyes... Great, another small inconvenience. At least it's just a small one.
"Rid all of those that get in your way." You stated.
"Understood!" They all shouted and you all broke off into your teams, Mikasa now alongside you.
As you all surrounded the level ground you watched Eren and Annie throwing blows at each other, Annie hardening her skin to cause more damage and Eren biting at her and they took off running again and you all followed, kicking and knocking every military police that tried to get in your way.
"Commander (Y/n)," the same scout now at your side, jumping from building to building with you, "even if we do catch her, the city's going to end up in ruin."
"Not my problem." You abruptly stated. "Get the capture nets!" You ordered Hanjie's squad.
You all halted watching Eren seeming as if he was winning against her and you ordered everyone to fall back and to not engage unless ordered to.
Come on Eren... get her out.
You started to worry as soon as you saw him get thrown into a building and Annie ran to the wall and began to climb it like a... like a fucking spider monkey.
"She's on the wall?!" Jean exclaimed. "She's going to try to climb over!"
You have to get her down, but you can't do it alone. You saw her hands drag down the wall as Eren jumped and bit on her to pull her back down, stopping her from climbing anymore. Eren fell as Annie kicked him off losing her leg in the process.
"Oh no, she's getting away!" Armin yelled, watching her climb up again.
"Mikasa with me now!" You called out to her and you both shot for the wall that she climbed and at the same time you both cut off her fingers making her lose her grip and fall back.
As she fell, you landed on her forehead, her eyes locked on you. "Annie." You furrowed your eyebrows at her. "Fall." And you pushed off of her, hooking yourself to the wall.
She crashed into the ground and Eren jumped on her back and bit at the back of her nape. Your eyes widened as he ripped her head off and Annie's body was now visible, tears streaming down her face.
"Eren, no!" You yelled seeing as he was moving in to eat her. You were about to jump down to stop him, but he paused.
"What is he doing?" You said to yourself.
But you shielded your eyes as a blue light now blinded you. It looked like they were merging
'What the hell was he doing? Was he going to kill her?!'
You didn't take the chance and you jumped down, cutting Eren's nape open and you pulled him out. "She's our key evidence, idiot!"
A/N: HELLLO! Sooo we're almost coming to an end and I know these last two chapters have been lacking some Levi but it was really to show how fricken bad ass we are!
